My daughter and I frequent this location and I have to say that Jenay was so amazing to us! She catered to my experience with such class and I'd recommend any and everyone to come see her! There's not many people who look you in the eyes and treat you with equal respect and kindness when having a disability. I appreciate her! Thank you again!

I was very pleased with the customer service. The associate Ashlei who was as kind as she was helpful. She helped me find a new perfume and was very knowledgable about them as well. If you need a new scent look for her as a guide :)

Finding things was fine. But then I was told that they do not accept returns without an Ulta account and try to force you to sign up for said account.
When I told them, I'm pretty sure that's illegal particularly if I have the receipt, I was told I'm sorry that you feel that way.
I do not hold the cashier responsible for this Ulta's bad policies, I think poorly of the management. Management blatantly teaches wrong information to employees and tries to take advantage of customers to get access to their data through fear mongering.
I work in cyber security, often working with my legal and fraud counterparts. I think that the store blatantly giving false information which goes against laws in an attempt to force customers to handover their data is ridiculous and ethically wrong. Especially in the age of cyber attacks and breaches which we are.
I thought I would stop in there as it would be expedient. My mistake. I will not be back.
Update: After looking through reviews, there was a mention of this same issue four years ago. The store acknowledged that this was wrong on the review/not the return policy and yet here we are. They have changed nothing. I will be reporting to corporate.

Just left this Ulta in Mayfield. And the customer service was piss poor. Came along with my mother for her to purchase a product. Which she did not get. However, I asked one of the managers for a sample of Beauty counter Vitamin C Serum (they were out of the product, so I couldn’t buy even if I wanted to). The young lady told me that I can’t have a sample of the product because they only do samples of Clinique. Which was very odd. Either way, she acted as if the sample was coming out her own paycheck. The manager was not Sosi by the way. Another Caucasian woman who was not helpful at all with a hair clip in her hair. Their customer service sucks and it’s clear they pick and choose whom they give samples to. Better off going to Sephora because they give you samples with no hesitation with a limit of 3. I’ll just order online from here on out or continue to go to mentor ulta.

I had a fantastic experience at Ulta Beauty thanks to Jenay from Clinique. She spent a considerable amount of time with me, patiently testing products and truly listening to my needs. Her expertise and guidance led me to exactly what I was looking for, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable shopping experience. Jenay’s attentiveness also helped me remember a few items I nearly forgot I needed. I left completely satisfied with my purchases and grateful for her exceptional service!

This is the second time that I had the pleasure of Jenay helping me at the Mayfield store. She is extremely knowledgeable w all products sold in all the different departments. Her friendly fun personality makes it a joy to buy from her. She doesn’t make you feel obligated to buy anything but yet I’m sold with the confidence she portrays. I am now a life long Clinique user thanks to her, she changed my skin. Ulta is lucky to have her working for your company. She goes above & beyond to go out of her way to help you & remember who you are.

I came in yesterday to look at foundations but had trouble finding the right one. Jenay noticed me struggling and took the time to help me out. She was super insightful and listened to what my needs were. She picked out the perfect foundation for my skin type and even did a full application on me! She showed me some skincare products that would help me target the root causes of my skin issues as well. I couldn’t be any more pleased with my experience at this location thanks to her. She was just lovely to work with and talk to. Super helpful without being pushy about buying. Jenay went above and beyond my expectations and seemed to genuinely care about finding something that works for me. I would come back just to work with her again!

I don't buy many beauty products, but I relied on Ulta when I lived in Florida. Now in Ohio, I've visited the Mentor store, and been very happy with their personnel and selection. I need all the help I can get, and they haven't let me down yet!

I just had a very disappointing experience. We are in the area from out of state for my son’s wedding. My daughter and I went to this specific store because they carry Laura Mercier. I am a long time Ulta diamond customer and have always had great experiences at other locations. I was not greeted and was not met by an employee with an offer for any help.
I had a basket with quite a few items in it and went to the hair product section. There was a Kenra spray all by itself, in the wrong section. It looked like a tester. I sprayed a very small mist and an employee came running out of the back immediately and scolded me for spraying something that wasn’t labeled “tester” and I can’t do that. I was going to buy the product and told her that and she took it away from me to the stock room. I stood there like a deer in the headlights.
Absolutely unbelievable. She could have handled it 100 different ways, but she chose to treat me like a naughty 10-year-old. I felt insulted and shocked and decided I could not with any self respect, purchase the items in my basket from this location. I talked to the manager about it as we were leaving. I was very kind and still shocked and gave her my basket with the items I wasn’t purchasing. She did not even attempt to understand or make it right, or apologize for how things happened. She just looked at me and said “OK.” I had high hopes for this store and could not have been more let down.
