I love Julia!! she’s the best, go see her! she was very patient and helped a first time person who is learning how to do their makeup very well. She took her time make sure i had the proper shades and was happy with everything i chose. if you go to Mayfield Ulta, ask for her ❤️

Yesterday May 9 th we had a appointment for makeup with a makeup artist name Allison my daughter Paris had junior prom we showed her a pic of how we wanted the makeup and she did exactly what we wanted we got there a lil early she took us right away . Allison made my daughter feel comfortable asked her was the look ok every step of the way we had so many compliments thank you to Allison and Ulta Beauty for the experience we will be back very soon

Jenna was absolutely amazing! I came into Ulta just wanting to try makeup for the first time, and she made the entire experience unforgettable. She gave me the full rundown on makeup basics and was so welcoming and knowledgeable. Her energy made my first visit to Ulta feel comfortable, exciting, and empowering. I went to make a return from an online purchase and at first it was going to refund me the proper amount including the tax. Then one of the managers named Ellen came over and restarted the transaction and did something to remove the tax from being refunded to me. When I was trying to explain to her that I paid more than the price of the product with tax I expected it to be refunded as well because when you return an item you get back the tax you paid towards it as well. To which she responded with a strong attitude“I didn’t do anything it was the computer and there’s nothing I can do” I was trying to tell her when the previous girl pulled it up it had no issue refunding me my total + the tax I paid. She told me I could call customer service to figure it out, even though it would allow it to be refunded to me before she just didn’t want to refund me my whole amount. I had asked her to please restart the return transaction and use the correct invoice from the order and then it worked because she hadn’t pressed any extra buttons when typing things in that time. I do not recommend shopping at the east gate location, they provide below par customer service and the managers will catch an attitude when you have to make a return and try to not refund you the whole amount

This morning, I interacted with a female staff member who was wearing black and wasn’t particularly short. Unfortunately, her attitude was quite disappointing — she seemed impatient and even annoyed when I asked for help. It really affected my experience. The store itself is beautifully decorated, but the service from this one staff member left a very negative impression.

To whom it may concern, my life loves this location and has been coming here for years. Today we scheduled an ear piercing for our 16 yr old birthday today in the Salon department.
It was dead empty and the only person getting there hair done was the store manager(on company time). We had it scheduled and everything. Me and my family (4 of us) came to wait for our appointment. I didn’t know until later the person suppose to be doing our son’s piercing was doing the manager’s hair which is no big deal but we’ve been waiting for 20 min and my little 10 years son just wanted to have a seat at any of the open 10 seats. Instead of them helping us out. This LBGTQ employee caught an attitude about him setting there waiting for his brother to be called. He was very rude and unprofessional. That’s when I found out the salon manager was watching the whole time getting her hair done. This old hick lady caught an attitude as well.
Long story short , I don’t know why they have a salon dept back here. It seems like a waste of companies time and money to have employees sit around and do nothing while getting an attitude.
