I typically visit the Lakewood location as that’s the area I live in, but this store is close to where I work. I was here 2 days ago to get an oil change and I was amazed by the team they have working there. They were polite, answered all my questions and were extremely knowledgeable. The manager even personally removed and changed out my cabin filter. Now I know you’re thinking that comes with the service, right? But the Lakewood location has never changed my cabin filter. So I completely forgot until it was completed. The filter was disgusting to say the least as I had this car for 18 months now. Great service guys and thank you for thorough work! 10/10

Elijah is masterful in his handling of the customer. As a consultant, I remain impressed by his demeanor, service orientation, communication ability, and a willingness to go above and beyond. These would be in addition to his competency in the basic functions of his role as far as I can observe. Taking care of employees like this is essential for a business to survive. Take 5, be sure you’re rewarding behaviors you would like repeated ☺️

I went to Take 5 No 130, 6668 Mayfield Rd, Mayfield Heights, OH, 44124 for a service to change the engine oil and filters on my car. During the oil change, the employees, due to carelessness and negligence, poured motor oil on my car engine, about half a liter, the contamination is quite large. The engine is in oil from all sides, it flows onto the clean concrete in my yard near the house. When I turn off the car, smoke comes from under the hood, the motor oil that is poured on the engine burns out. When I asked to fix this problem, the employees responded with a smile and did nothing. Please take into account that before this incident the engine was perfectly clean, there was never any oil on it, the car is well maintained. Draw your own conclusions

All great except I wore earplugs during my oil change since I cannot listen to any kind of rap or similar. I do not consider rap to be music as it hurts my head, heart and ears and represents anger to me. I have NO desire to listen to any form of this. Sorry. Other than that I would rank a 5. It is a bit awkward pulling in and out on the fly due to no left turn signs, but that's not Take Five's fault. I would like to know where the name TAKE FIVE comes from. I was there for about 20 minutes. Also, the quick oil change places are getting VERY expensive! I remember when not too many years ago, I paid about $35 per oil change for quality oil. I now google for coupons when I need an oil change and even then still almost $100 with tax! Quoted prices do not include sales tax and there is also a $4.99 charge tacked on for the technician to change your oil!!!!!!

The staff was arguing and cursing the entire time about personal matters and what type of oil was correct for my vehicle. They were being very immature and unprofessional in front of multiple customers. Then they lost my oil cap and had to go to a auto parts store nearby to replace it. The process took forever and they didn't check my tires. I didn't get much of a discount or barely an apology for the bad customer service that took over 30 minutes. I will not be back again. I've never had this experience at a take 5 or anywhere before. I also did not recieve a new sticker at end of service.
