Just had another very fast and pleasant service experience with Elliot at Yark automotive in Maumee Oh. Have always had Chevy and Ford's in past years. Presently have Tacoma and Camery for number of years. Superior change in vehicles and services with Yark in Maumee, oh thank you Elliot!

Went in for another recalled item and oil change they got vehicle in serviced and provided mpi. I had a few minor items on inspection that I took care of myself with no pressure.

This is purely based on the service department. I was quoted $417 for a service needed for my vehicle back in April. Took me some time to get that money together so I brought my car in today to have the service completed (after calling around and being quoted $600 for the service and alignment from other mechanics” the service was scheduled with no mention of price increases or what a new estimate would be. Why was my bill $1094.86?!?! I was told the part price increased since then and I wasn’t quoted for labor. It took them an hour and a half and was charged $314 just in labor. This is all unacceptable. I should had at the very least been given an updated quote before being forced to shell our money I didn’t have. I was a loyal Yark customer. Not anymore.

I had a 10am scheduled oil change with an extended service that I purchased when I bought my car. It includes an oil change and tire rotation and I was there for 2 hours and 40 minutes with them telling me everything was done. I check my tire rotation and noticed that the tires weren’t moved. They said they didn’t know because it was “specified”. It took over 2 hours to do an oil change and had 4-5 people come in after me and leave before me? That doesn’t make sense. There is always “miscommunication” when I come here. If I didn’t purchase the extended servicing, I would not be bringing my car here to have it worked on. Not to mention, I told Michele that I was leaving for vacation and she told me I would be out of there in an hour and 15 minutes. They did come out and tell me that I needed an air filter which they said took an extra 10 minutes, but that doesn’t incorporate the extra time that I sat there.

Elliot was great. They got me right in at my appointment time. I didn’t have to wait long for my car to be done. Elliot explained everything that was going to be serviced and kept me informed on the status of my car. The waiting area was clean and comfortable and they even offered complimentary coffee, water, etc.
