I hate the hours. I hate that arrowhead family physicians are not open on the weekends. I hate that I have to work around them. I hate that I get turned away from getting my birth control shot 50% of the time.

I came to get my blood drawn something that should take 30 minutes but I was there for two hours. The ladies in the front offices were super sweet and so was the nurse that drew my blood. They need a better system to get patients in and out. I’ve been fasting since last night and had to wait to eat. There were diabetics and new moms in the waiting rooms that were also fasting and were waiting to eat. I will be going somewhere else for now on.

I had made an appointment a couple of days ago. The nurses called to tell me that they had to reschedule I then explained to them that I needed to be seen quicker than the next available appointment they were trying to create for me. The nurse over the phone PRETENDED to care and worked something out so I can still be seen that day. I got another call less than 24 hours before my scheduled appointment they left message asking me could I reschedule again. I tried to call them back several times after that and gotten no answer. So I figured they would keep my appointment since they never told me my appointment was cancelled. But that was not the case. When I arrived to my appointment the nurse told me it was in fact cancelled. The Doctor was there the day of my appointment she heard my whole entire situation and she STILL turned me away. Promedica you should really be ashamed of yourselves for this one.

This office has no respect or care for their patients. The main office staff has promised me 5 times that I would be given a call back from the RN I've been seeing. Even when talking to the Office manager or lead, they promised it as well. I can't be leave how unprofessional they are, especially when you have a concerning situation going on with your health. It's ridiculous. In addition to that, they had me do labs and tests that would determine a variety of things, and they had problems with their machine working & said that I do not have asthma (as I have been having breathing trouble). Then I was billed, $600+ for these tests to have no results, no help, and the no responses. Unprofessional. I went to see another, better, physician's office (which I recommend you all do) and I was given the same test in which they said I have asthma and that they were completely surprised that Arrowhead Family Physicians could not diagnose.
Not properly trained, unprofessional, and just a terrible physicians office overall. I've even spoken to many people who have switched because of similar problems.

I had a Dr appointment scheduled for mid march and when COVID hit my appointment got canceled, although I never got a phone call or even a message on my chart (communication and sending my scrips to the wrong pharmacy have always been a problem with all my Promedica physicians' offices). Fast forward to this month and three of my prescriptions ran out so I message them twice on my chart and they ended up filling one of them, not one of the two blood pressure meds but an antidepressant. So I message them again to no response, and then days later I find out that my Dr left that office and is now independent. So I called the office and told the lady my story. Then she asks if I'm going to stay with them or follow my dr. I told her that I didn't even know that my Dr left and she told me a letter (that I never received) was mailed out in January. Annoyed I told her I never got a letter and she repeated her statement again and asked if i was going to schedule w/ a physician there. I start to tell her I'll do whatever i need to in order to get my hypertension scrips filled but stopped half way through and thought to myself, they don't care... why would I stay? I do believe that there are a lot of good, caring, workers in Promedica, however the culture there is just terrible. They seem to care very little when it comes to the customer, a lot when it comes to billable services, and hear they're pretty rough on their employees. Sorry so much, thanks whoever made it to here :-) Promedica Sux

Relocating to Toledo I needed a new PCP and picked this as it was close to home and work. I don't know if it's this practice or an overall Promedica problem, but I have had such a bad experience. The office is good for a basic physical but that's where it ends. The doctor doesn't listen, disagrees with other doctors/specialist you may have, writes down the the wrong symptoms, won't let you explain, won't give you all the referrals you need if he doesn't agree with you or other doctors, and in the end you need to take matters into your own hands. I ended up having to go to an urgent care and get treated because this office wouldn't take my appointment. When I did go to a referral he did give, the office at the specialist didn't know why I would go there and asked me to return to my PCP and get the correct referral. When I told them he wouldn't see me, they told me to find a new PCP. After all of this I tried to explain to the PCP office staff and they told me the office manager would contact me. They never called.

Been going there for 25+years..don’t remember much about the kids doctors for myself but my son now goes there and they are great! Dr Ewry is my family doctor and he’s a beast! Very efficient and down to earth. They are always busy though, and sometimes can’t schedule an appointment for 2 months out, other times it can be 2 days out... only had one irritating encounter over all the years where I was 10 min late to an appointment and they made me reschedule cause they were too busy, yet not a single person in the waiting room but me..

I have always had good experiences. They have Gotten me in quick when sick. Listened to me (not all doctors and staff do that...) I hope they all continue to be one of the best primary offices around.

I never actually get too long to talk to the physicians because half the time I'm waiting for 30 to 40 minutes in the lobby and when I get to talk they give very basic and arbitrary answers you might as well go to the hospital and you will get a better chance for a diagnosis
