If I could give zero or even negative stars to Lee Winters Florist, I would. Like so many other reviews I have seen here and elsewhere, what was paid for was not what was received, not even close. My husband ordered flowers for our anniversary through Flowersforyou.com, an order-gathering website. He ordered the Supreme arrangement with roses and stargazer lilies. What was delivered by Lee Winter doesn't even look like the standard arrangement and the lilies are definitely not stargazers. He called the Flowersforyou and was told a new, correct arrangement would be delivered the next day. OK, fine. Well, no delivery came the next day. He called again and was told that the florist refused to remake the arrangement. R E F U S E D! Obviously, this was unacceptable, so they said they would contact another local florist for a new arrangement to be delivered, which did happen. The arrangement I received from Hirzel Brothers Florist in Toledo is gorgeous, full, and definitely has my stargazers! There are so many stems in the large vase that I can't even count them. I certainly CAN count the stems in the sad arrangement from Lee Winters - 12 - and that includes the fern, plus, the lilies and roses were already beginning to brown, which tells me they were not fresh, and this cost almost a hundred dollars! If that's not unacceptable enough for you to never use this florist, just read their responses to negative reviews, if they respond at all. Another reviewer stated that the funeral arrangement they had ordered was clearly damaged, I believe it was the casket spray, so a pretty important part of the service. Lee Winters responded placing full blame for the damage fully on the funeral home and taking no responsibility for the damage. This is despicable. To basically tell a grieving family that you could care less about them and their deceased loved one AND blame someone else who can't even defend themselves against the accusation is beyond disgusting. I don't care how the arrangement got damaged, have some compassion and empathy for a grieving family and just fix the damn thing! The little bit of money you will lose in doing so would have come back to you tenfold with the gratitude of the family when they tell the story of how you helped them in their time of need. But no, you are so shortsighted and arrogant that you can't see how much business you lost just from that one unbelievable response, let alone how inhumane it makes you look! Other responses addressed the disparity in what was ordered/paid for and what was received. Lee Winters again blames others by saying they only get a portion of what the customer pays and that they base the size/quality of the arrangements on how much they get paid. Again, this is a big middle finger to the customer. They do not care what the customer paid or what they are expecting to receive, only about how much money they are getting. Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't that how order-gathering sites work? They get customers for you that you wouldn't otherwise get and they take a commission for it? I have to presume you knew this when you agreed to do business with them. You can't then blame them for your pathetic product and service! I will never use this florist, directly or indirectly, I suggest you don't either.

TLDR: Disastrous, embarrassing for 13 people at a close relative's viewing. Avoid if you want to flowers delivered almost nothing like what you see and ordered nor appropriate for a viewing. We're from around the Dayton area and the visitation was near Perrysburg. So, we ordered thru our local florist an arrangement we liked and with some extra instructions to try to replace the white roses with pink (which was done). Our florist mentioned that if there were any issues we'd get a call. Since this was Tuesday and they needed to be there by Friday 2PM, everyone felt there was plenty of time to make changes if needed. Apparently, this place did not expect us to show up at the viewing because what they delivered was pitiful. 13 people had their names on this joke and it was downright embarrassing since this was a viewing for my direct uncle's wife. A quick call along with pictures of the sad arrangement to our florist at 2:30PM (it took a while to find our flowers since they were not what we ordered), followed by them calling this place with our complaint. They called us back and were told a 2nd delivery would be attempted that day or maybe tomorrow. At 5 we directly called this florist and it was like night and day. Our florist was a typical "the customer should be happy and how can we help" meanwhile this florist was rude, uncooperative and said "we got what we ordered". Um, okay let's review the arrangement we picked as described by Teleflorist (which was used by our florist and our florist had a very similar picture too): This beautiful bouquet with pure white flowers in a gorgeous blue glass vase. Beautiful blooms such as crème roses, white lilies and alstroemeria along with yellow and white chrysanthemums, eucalyptus, limonium and more are beautifully arranged in a dazzling cobalt blue vase. What did we get the first time? A plastic squarish, slightly green tinted vase, no lilies, no limonium, no chrysanthemums, a few sad looking pink alstroemerias, 3 pink roses (as requested) and lots of daisies. The price we paid and the price this displayed was way off for a viewing. Another arrangement was delivered around 6PM, at least it was a clear glass vase, a couple of hydrangeas were spray painted a little bit blue, lots of unbloomed lilies, and some other flowers thrown in. While we appreciate the 2nd effort, if they didn't have the flowers we wanted to begin with, they weren't going to produce them the 2nd time and this didn’t move us to appreciate this slightly better arrangement. This should have been relayed immediately so our local florist could use someone else, instead they threw something together and hoped no one would be there to see it. Sorry, but 9 of the relatives who had their name on the card saw first-hand the train wreck that was their arrangement.BTW our florist did the right thing and refunded money to this dissatisfied customer. We’ll be sure to avoid them in the future as we have numerous relatives (who also now know to avoid them) up that way and someday we’ll need to send flowers again.

Throughly disappointed. What I ordered and paid for was about 3 times bigger than what was delivered. I spoke with the owner as I ordered over the phone to confirm that the basket was as big as pictured-she assured me it was. I confirmed that it was an oval basket with a ribbon tied on the handle-she confirmed it was. A small round basket with no handle or ribbon was delivered. I called to complain. Owner claimed to not remember having a conversation with me, a whole 4 days before. She refunded me $17.24. $17.24?!?! I paid almost $100!! Will not order from here again! I was trying to be nice an order from one of the little guys; and not use Bartz. Won't make this mistake again. Adding photos of what i paid for and what was delivered.

False advertising at its finest!!! Paid $80 for the "premium" 3 days late and then hassled by the florist. Absolutely ruined my gesture! Do yourself a favor and don't waste your time here.

I am EXTREMELY disappointed in this flower shop. My mother paid $100+ to have a 3d buzzard floral arrangement that the shop assured her they could definitely do. This was specifically asked for. for my grandfathers showing. What was provided was the most half assed floral arrangement I have ever seen. My 4 year old could have made something better than what was given to us. the head even ended up snapping off as the back was not taped enough and we ended up going to a different floral shop for them to try to somewhat fix what we had. Please do not waste your time and money at this place and go to a quality floral shop for your floral arrangement needs.

Flowers were dead , vase broke all over the porch when I picked it up . No packaging to protect it. Shameful. No one hung up on anyone. The delivery was not in a box at all, and my comment was, they would have been beautiful. No one offered replacement. I have no reason to lie.

The Teleflora flowers ordered and the Teleflora bouquet delivered, looked nothing alike, and the flowers were delivered 4 days after scheduled delivery placed online. The Teleflora company became involved and apologized, refunded half of the $65.00. First a missed delivery date, then a created bouquet that looked substandard. Please try harder Lee Winter Florist, a name to remember!

I am a realtor who received flowers from a great client about 2 weeks ago...they were so beautiful and fresh... no wires inserted in the stems to keep them straight and no tape to keep them separated... just fresh cut gorgeous flowers... they came with great care instructions. They were as beautiful a week later... I have a day they arrived picture and a week later...I have never had more beautiful healthy flowers...
