Dr. Daboul is a great doctor. I have never had issues with him as a doctor. Fairly flexible with scheduling as well.

Condition- Herniated Disc with extruding disc fluid requiring corrective surgery.(Before diagnosis)- Visit 1 - I explained my symptoms and severity of pain (8 out of 10). Already had two months of chiropractic and PT care. No relief. Nurse tells me they don't see the need for any imaging. I expressed frustration at this. Her rebuttal was "we don't have a magic pill". Then her treatment instructions were to lose weight and come back in 2 months. (WHAT!?!

Then her treatment instructions were to lose weight and come back in 2 months. (WHAT!?! ?)2 months later- I dropped 35 pounds. Pain had worsened. They then order an XRAY. Didnt get a phone call for a week on results. When they did call they then said they'll order an MRI. Didn't get a call to schedule an MRI until almost a month later. By this time I had to visit the ER on a Sunday morning because the pain was so intense I couldn't even walk.MRI finally performed. I don't get a call for almost 3 weeks on the results with a referral to a specialist. It is now March and I am just now meeting with a specialist this week.So almost 5 months to get properly diagnosed and proper treatment.I met with a new PCP today and they said it's obvious I need surgery.Suggestion- I would look elsewhere for Family Physician Care.Dr. Daboul is a good physician. It's his staff, nursing and otherwise, that could use major improvement.

Be careful new patients!Their process to set up new patients require TWO visits, different from other practices usually go by one visit. And one of those visits may ended up charge you more than $100 even if you have insurance without any outstanding problems. The worse thing is that I was not informed about their two visit policy when I make the initial appointment and they are saying they cannot do anything while I am complaining about the unexpected bill.

Knowledgeable and friendly. They will recommend or have you do procedures you may think are part of a normal office visit. They had me do a number of things that was not covered by insurance under the guise that is was a normal procedure or protocol. Billing has no voicemail or email service to get ahold or start dialogue with them to dispute the account. Now I'll have to take time off work to discuss these items with them.
