I have been so happy the past 4 years since finding American Frame! I've used them for personal projects as well as client projects in our photography business. Their customer service is unheard of in terms of availability and friendliness. You can always easily reach someone by phone or email, which has become increasingly difficult to do with other companies. Julie, Nate, and Maria always take the utmost care of my orders when I call and truly go above & beyond! The quality of the frames matches the excellent quality of their customer service!

I will never do business with American Frame again. Doesn't matter how many thousands you spend with them, they do absolutely nothing to fix their mistakes. For any independent Artists paying for everything on your own.. it's all good with them until it isn't.

Ordered what I thought would be a complete frame, ready for my prints to go in to. The deep frame that i purchased only had a 1/4” backing… how am I supposed to hold that in with the provided supports? It became way too DIY for the amount of $$$ spent. Tried to hammer in the sawtooth picture frame holder provided (because they couldn’t use one that screws in??) and it bent like crazy. Instructions are not very clear on how to get your picture put in the frame correctly either.

I hope they fix their customer service soon, because it's preventing me from ordering. I have previously ordered frames with no issue from this company, but now that I have just a few questions - I can't get anyone to call or email me back. When you call, the automated recording hilariously boasts about how awesome their customer service is - when or where can I get some of that awesome customer service?! I can't in good faith purchase myself or send clients to a business that is non-responsive during their own posted business hours. What a shame. By the way, what I wanted information on was lead times - something your website avoids at all cost. Even if you add a frame to cart and check out, it won't even give you an estimate of when the frame would be ready to ship! How can you feel good about ordering a product when the company gives you no idea of when you will actually receive it?!

I will never shop here again and urge others to beware. If I could give no stars, I would. Worst company. No return policy. Don’t make one tiny mistake ordering because they refuse to help even if the order is expensive, and all you are asking for is an exchange to fix a problem, not a return. She says “ I can not resale this” when it’s a frame company and I sure you could. The website is terrible and provides little information when trying to order online, yet when the order comes for the wrong depth canvas, they refuse to do anything to help me. Now I have an expensive hunk of metal that I am sure I can not resale.

I made a number of purchases from American Frame and can highly recommend them. The Neilsen aluminum frames in particular are really beautifully made, precisely mitered / cut, easy to assemble, and cost effective. There is a little bit of DIY involved, but much less expensive than working with a professional framer.

SOLID & VERY WELL MADE. I ORDERED BRONZE METAL FRAME & IS MUSEUM QUALITY. my photo was odd size & required 1/8 measurements... the 2 week wait was worth the custom cut. Packaging was top quality ... ? everything was custom covered and zero fluff or lint. The best American made product I've ordered in looong time. Worth every dollars

Awesome company! My designer recommended this online company to frame a picture I took with my iPhone. It was 30x20” print and then add the mat and frame. Turned out gorgeous and was reasonably priced. They responded quickly and it arrived in less than 2 weeks. Highly recommend!

Horrible.... went to their website and walked though the process to get a frame and photo. After I was done I payed about 100 dollars. I only received the frame. When i called back a customer service agent said i wasn't the only one who's experienced the website showing a completed order preview with my photo and it not adding the photo. I build these things for a living so I know good design and confusing design. The agent said he's going to contact me in 3 days and he'll see what he can do. I called back in 3 days, got another agent and this one wasn't even trying to help or understand. She acted like it was my error and then walked me through getting the photo by it's self...I did that and they didn't have to size that the frame interface said would work the same size i got from them prior. I asked her can I return and she was like nope and that was it. So I have a 100 dollar frame, no photo and there is nothing I can do about it. Very horrible experience bad on all levels.

They shipped me some items that were cut in error. Wasted my time. I’m out $100 and none of this fits in my frame. Buyer beware!
