This store is always gross. Make sure to watch the expiration dates on the food, because the employees don't. The amount of expired food that they sell is appalling.

I come to Marc's often for groceries and their aisle of goodies. You never know what you're going to find! Groceries are fairly priced, often times offering great deals. Variety is decent. And in spring they have a wonderful plant sidewalk sale that I visit a few times each season. They always have beautiful hanging baskets and hydrangeas, all at great prices, coming from Maria Gardens.

Always understaffed. Went on a Fri at 7p and they only had one register open (plus the self serve which only allows 20 or less items)I approached the self serve helper and informed her that there were a dozen cart for only one open register (thinking she might call a manager but nope). I hate this store and only go there when I have to. Floor staff usually can’t answer questions when I ask where I might be able to find something.

The pharmacist lied to us about the price of a prescription with goodrx. They charged us $165 for something that's $50 with goodrx and of course we were in a rush so we just took their word for it and paid it

Your pharmacy associates are rude. Furthermore, their capacity to answer simple questions and perform simple duties scare me that they have access to controlled substances.

This store, if you even want to call it one, is way past its expiration date. Situated in a 1950's shopping plaza, the store just simply isn't up to modern day standards. I've been a patron here for over 20 years and have seen the remodeling and many efforts to restructure the product/shelving layouts; this building just simply needs to be torn and rebuilt from scratch. This store tries to do too much for what little and brittle space it occupies. Anything the corporate chain does here for improvements just results in a "putting lipstick on a pig" situation while the prospective demanding customer base keeps rising. It is not uncommon to be within arm's reach (or very close to personal space territory) of other customers when it gets busy. The product layout is horrendous and arbitrarily divided up (especially the pasta section). Width of most isles are reduced to narrow paths thanks to shipper displays every couple of feet and also result in blocking of some items they try to cram in their inventory. I was in the store a while back and saw that a pipe had burst! Some ceiling tiles are missing or rotting/molding. Shelving doesn't seem like it gets clean regularly, and some are even bent on the bottom levels. The floor is buckling in some places or simply cracked, adding hazards and exposure to the underlying concrete. From what I've heard from past employees, the back isn't much better, whether it's regularly failing equipment, neglected facilities or the dirty shipments they receive in the small, cramped warehouse. I've been told it's like entering a "third-world country", which is disappointing because I am one to support a local* business, considering this is among the more accessible and affordable options for the surrounding neighborhoods. This store simply isn't welcoming to me anymore and will happily shop elsewhere until others realize what kind of place they are stepping into.
