“A beautiful farm store located in a little home on the property. It's filled with veggies grown on-site. They also have eggs and all kinds of meat. The grounds are beautiful; you wouldn't even know you were so close to the city! Located in the Indian Hills area; they also do weddings (if that's your thing lol).”

“Beautiful venue - they needed to have more bartenders for the size of the party ... Asked for a glass of water at the bar and without batting an eye they said our server designated for our table can get it for us - ok we tried finding her which is why we asked at the bar - went back and waited ... and no salt and pepper at tables ?!?!”

“My 5 year old son learned about this place from the YouTube channel “kids toys play” over a year ago. He’s obsessed with Thomas and model trains. I had it in my mind to plan a weekend trip flying from DC at some point. We just did the weekend trip and it was phenomenal. My son spent 6 straight hours there. I am glad it was Sunday and they were only open for 6 hours as my son would have wanted to stay 8 if it was another day. He had a blast in all areas. Great indoor playground, great Thomas memorabilia section, great toy store, a ton of play train tables which he loves and finally, the model train displays are impressive. Also, the place is super clean and the staff is so nice and welcoming. It was well worth the weekend trip.”

“Love, love, love coming here! We have been here numerous times and each time we discover something new. The grandchildren are enthralled with all the details. Be careful to time your visit when it is not busy, we like to arrive when it opens, so the kids have plenty of time to look at the trains. We always stop at the playground in the middle to let them run a little energy off before finishing up. We will be back!”

“Very nice place! Brought a few novice shooters along and they loved it! Not overly crowded. Inside the 275 loop but you feel like you’re in the “country”.
John and the rest of the staff very accommodating. Stopped by to make sure we were doing well. Challenging enough for seasoned shooters but enough birds that anyone can hit. Great traps, all in good condition, plenty if benches on which to rest.

“We attended a wedding reception here. The bartenders were inconsistent when making drinks and the biggest surprise was how overcooked the vegetables were and how tasteless the steak and chicken were. The steak was really tender but didn't have any flavor.”

“This is a great gathering space! Lots of tables and space to set up extra tables around the perimeter. Nice big fire place, didn't use it because it was June, but nice to know it's there. Bathrooms under the shelter. Plenty of parking. Field space was awesome for our group of about 50, or more, young kids!”

“Our service was good as usual. You all changed the chicken and waffle and it used to be really good, one of the best ones but I do not care for it now. And the change from the breakfast potato's to the hash my mom did not care for that. She also said the quiche she has had in the past was better this one was just ok.”

“Great family hotel. We stayed there for a one night family getaway. The pool and spa area was very nice. One of the best I've seen for a Residence Inn. Room was nicer than most I've seen, but could use a thorough cleaning - it was clean enough, but showed lots of signs of use. Don't let that deter you though. Staff was friendly and professional. “Great indoor playground for toddlers and preschool-aged kids. Inflatables and indoor playset keep them active and a giant sand table and dress up play areas for imaginative play. There is also a cafe and plenty of seating for adults.”

“Read full review, especially if you're traveling as a family - Ok, seriously, this is one of the better hotels I've stayed at - the entire staff is fantastic, they were prompt with everything and the housekeepers went out of their way to make sure that we were taken care of. The pool area is also well maintained and the rooms themselves are extremely clean and spacious. We also loved the breakfast, however I don't believe it is complimentary (we were able to secure it as part of a room block) but if you spring for it you won't be disappointed. My only issue I had with this hotel was, believe it or not, the toilets. We stayed three nights for a baseball tournament and we had multiple issues with the toilets clogging, even with just toilet paper. The first morning my son used the bathroom in our room and it ended up clogged and while we were waiting for a plunger, I took my daughter downstairs to use the lobby bathroom and that one was already clogged up before we had a chance to use it. Luckily the housekeepers had opened up all the vacant rooms on our floor so we popped in one of those as we had an emergency at this point before heading back to our room to have a family discussion about the situation. Our new rule the rest of the stay was it was one flush per wipe, lol! Once we figure that out it was great. I would absolutely stay again in light of the toilets.

Adding in an edit: My only other suggestion would be to add another washer & dryer for guest use. We needed to wash uniforms for our boys to play in (temperatures during our stay was in the 90's with high humidity so it was absolutely necessary for a group of teenage boys) and I had to wait until 2am to finally get to the washer without a line. We got it done but there were so many other baseball teams there plus other sports tournaments it would be extremely beneficial seeing as those were the guests trying to use it the most.

Rooms: Our room had a king sized bed with a pull out couch that my daughters thought was super comfortable. We had five with us so the beds only slept for but we brought an air mattress for the fifth sleeper. The room was well kept and the housekeeper, Dilya, was the sweetest!

Nearby activities: Minutes away from Top Golf, bowling & entertainment centers as well as a movie theater.

“Sorry no pics but this is not a bad place to stay. Especially for a night or 2. Only bad part is if you smoke like me. You gotta go out by the front desk. No balconies to step out on. Beds are comfortable. Rooms are good size, Rooms are clean. And it does have a indoor pool.”
