I have been a customer here for a while since moving to Marion. I’ve seen the store go through several changes, some for the better some the worst. There has always been employees that shined through as actually caring and Rich at the Southern Marion Ohio location is a great example of a great employee. He has went out of his way for us as customers on more than one occasion. If it were up to me I believe he deserves a raise. Thank you for your due diligence and customer centric nature!

Dollar general stores in Richwood and Marion are always a mess to walk through.

The two male cashiers on second shift do the absolute most for the store and their customers. Overall all the employees are very friendly and the store is always clean and organized with the exception of truck days but that's understandable

I prefer the Dollar General because they recently remolded the one on Store on N. Main St which is close to Home.There items such as Household Accessories are Better Quality than before.These items are Wall Hangings,Lamps,Towels,Wash Cloths,Candles, things that are used for Decorating Your Home on a Budget but much higher quality.If you are in our end of Town I recommend stopping in to see the Great Difference.
