Staff has been nice. This review is for Wesbanco as a company. We have had our joint account there for 11 years. In April 2024. We noticed a bunch of charges through PlayStation out of California (we are in Ohio) (Almost $400). At that same time, my husband got a text from Wesbanco saying there was fraudulent activity on our account. He called and had it "taken care of" and the lady said the money should be back in our account in 1-2 days and that we needed to go to a local branch as well. We went to the local branch in Marietta and did the paper work and were told that the money would be returned in 7-10 business days (which honestly, that makes more sense than 1-2 days). That was the middle of April . My husband called today (May 8 ) to inquire when the money would be returned because nothing has been put back into our account.... They told him that our claim has been denied and won't be getting the money back ?? And that we could TRY to contact PlayStation but there was no guarantee they would do anything. Absolutely ridiculous! In this economy, being screw out of almost $400 hits hard.

I've been a WesBanco customer for almost 20 years. I love WesBanco but this is the worst branch I've ever been to. There is almost always an issue with something. Today I just waited in line at the drive through for about 15-20 minutes (not a problem). There was only one car in front of me, but no one was moving (even in the other lanes). I've come to expect this location to be extremely slow, but something was off. When the car in front of me finally drove off, I pulled up and the window was closed off so that I could not access the container. I hit call teller and let them know. She told me that the line I was in was actually closed and I'd need to go to another line. It read, "Open" in green when I pulled in so they must have closed it after the car in front of me pulled away. Rather than serving me and at least letting me be the last car, she wanted me to pull into another lane after I had already waited. This is TERRIBLE business. The people at corporate seriously need to crack down on this WesBanco branch and get things in order.
