Beautiful store for sure!Customer service a 0!I came into the store and a man was talking on the phone and I wasn’t acknowledged and was like ok, he’s on the phone. So when he got off the phone still no acknowledgment. Then a customer, who I assume was a regular came in and he was so nice and welcomed her. They chit chatted about how her daughter just had a baby, ect and still not a hi to me! Wow!!!I actually had picked out a beautiful cake plate with a glass cover and several other beautiful items to purchase. I decided that since I wasn’t worthy of a hello I wasn’t worthy to buy. So I hope that your staff can work on their customer service skills. I myself run a multi million dollar business. I can tell you, everyone that walks into my store gets at least a hello! Maybe not judge a book by their cover either. It was raining and I had on a ball cap, Sun glasses and sweats, maybe that was it? Idk, but when you’re in the business of customer service you talk to everyone !

Last time I will ever visit this store! The employees never acknowledge your existence not even a smile or hello! Most unfriendly store in Marietta! They have a lot of cute and different things, but act like they could care less if you purchase anything or not!

My family lives in the area and Simple Pleasures is always one of the shops that I want to visit because of the cute merchandise and unique items. However, the two individuals that are always working (a younger girl and an older man who I'm guessing is the owner) do not acknowledge patrons, and in fact, ignore everyone in the store. Not only do they ignore customers, on several occasions when my mom or I have had questions, they are irritated that you are interrupting their conversation. I have decided not to spend money at a store with such rude individuals. There are more stores with owners deserving of the money than this one.

This is the best shop in Marietta! Cutest assortment of kitchen, bath, and home decor accessories and furniture. Find the perfect gift for a family member, friend or just yourself! My husband and I no longer live in Marietta but make it a point to stop in here each time we visit and have been doing so for many years. The owner, John, is such a great person and delivers the best customer service. Warm and welcoming local business with quality items!

This place is nice. The best way to describe it would be if someone opened a small Anthropologie in downtown Marietta. They call it "a curated boutique." They carry gifts, candles, women's accessories, home furnishings, found objects and modern home décor. Some of which you can actually find at an Anthropologie (and at the same prices.) You'll find The Cook's Shop next door, which rivals them in front window display. We stopped in for some Christmas shopping and they had a lot of the mercury glass that's seen everywhere-ornaments, tabletop trees, etc. Also holiday candles and small feather trees. The only con was a woman's screaming child that the employee (I believe to be the owner) did not really help to console. Screaming, as in, falling on the floor screaming. Screaming, as in, turn your head for the pitch will make you pass out screaming. I'm thinking from their conversations they were all related. Sadly, this was very distracting and somewhat disappointing. This place is nice but a Marietta oddity in it's aesthetic and pricing. Hopefully they thrive in a town riddled with antiques shops.
