They work really hard to do what is best for the rescues they were so kind to take in and care for daily. They are willing to answer your questions or any concerns u have about your own pets and have really good prices on things like flea medicine or combs.. pretty much anything u need along those lines for your pet. I only ran into a misunderstanding issue when I requested worm and flea medicine she only gave me flea medicine.. but it can happen I mean these ladies work hard❤️

Against my better judgment, I tried to adopt a kitten from this place. This person is too picky about adopting their cats out. I don’t have any pets and was denied because I don’t go to the vet. WHAT PETS AM I SUPPOSED TO BRING? I don’t have any. I was honestly trying to rescue a cat from them. This is the filthiest, smelliest disgusting place I have ever had the displeasure of going into. The stench was on me when I got back in my car. The cats aren’t contained and are just running around. She is a cat hoarder. 150 cats in that little house sure does sound like a hoarding situation and she has no interest in adopting them out. Those poor cats living in that deplorable conditions. Stay away from this place, she won’t approve you, it appears that she wants to keep them all. I was able to adopt a beautiful kitten elsewhere and he will be vet checked and live his best life. Please don’t go there, I have heard that most of her cats have upper respiratory infections which can be treated with antibiotics, so why wouldn’t she treat them? I haven’t experienced that but it is what I have heard. She should be ashamed of herself to have those poor cats in filth. This negative review is not because she wouldn’t let me adopt a kitten but because of the ignorant way it was done and I think others should know about it before wasting their time

I called earlier today hoping to find someone to help me. The owner picks up the phone and I ask if she can take in my grandma’s cat. I told her the situation of how the cat has history of attacking kids and adults. She laughed and said, “what am I supposed to do?” Hmm I don’t know, how about do your damn job and take the cat in? You’d think since they are shelter they would care about these animals and do their freaking job. She was rude. Plain out rude. If I could give this place zero stars I would. Also I called my friend afterwards and she said they are horrible place to go to. She got her cat fixed there and when she went to pick her cat up, they couldn’t find it! Like what??! This place seems unorganized. DONT GO HERE!!

They can't spade a kitten until 5 pounds. And people have told me that it was only $25. But it's not.

If you have a healthy cat currently that does not frequent a vet because of the fact that, well… it’s healthy and has no reason to visit the vet (per the recommendation of the vet), you will be unable to adopt an animal from this filthy hoarder house. If you make any substantial income and have any compassion for animals, this is definitely not going to be a good fit. They care more about donations and handouts than finding loving homes for the animals, which is truly unfortunate for the dozens of cats forced to live in such a filthy environment. The application asks about income multiple times and hopefully you don’t make anything that says you are able to provide for the animals because they absolutely will deny you.It is a truly unfortunate situation that will absolutely be responded to with another inappropriate comment, but it’s best to inform the public about this sort of establishment so that the people of this community are aware.

We took 3 of the 4 female cats we had to be spayed. We prepaid and was called to take in 3. About 2 months later when I called to inquire about if we were still on the list for the 4th, I was told I paid for 2 males and 2 females. I filled out 1 piece of paperwork and wrote at the top of the paper 4 females. Another lady filled out the other 3 forms. I was argued with about the sexes of the cats and told we paid $200, which is $40 less than we did, then hung up on. I have tried to call back and either no answer or someone picks up the phone and hangs up. I am very thankful for the 3 done, but do not appreciate being treated so poorly. Just refund the other $40 we paid or call me to discuss options since you won't take my call. Thank you. Also, the cats came down with upper respiratory infections after being there and I had to take one, who struggled to breath, to a vet. The vet sold me enough antibiotics for all the cats in the house, which were 8 at the time. In addition to the 3 spayed, there was a nursing mom and pregnant cat in the home at the time. All cats were fine and healthy until we brought the 3 home from S.T.O.P. Not saying who is at fault, but there are sickly cats at the facility walking around the lobby and in cages in the lobby. Looking back, we should have went elsewhere.Edit on 8/10/23: A refund was sent to us in a card. Thank you.

Went there to get flea relief medicine for my dog. Diana is very knowledgeable about what she has for your furbabies.

She fixed my Dexter and I'm so grateful I could afford her prices. At first I was very skeptical about bringing him back the day if surgery as there had to be at least 60 cats roaming when I did the paperwork and paid but on the day of his surgery it was clean calm and peaceful setting. I picked him uo at the end of the day no complications everything was perfect

it saddens to make this review but the run around i have dealt with not only from this establishment but others in the area as well, this one really upset me. I had called Friday 7/21/23 about a kitten we were interested in adopting. The lady working told me that the kitten was available that we could stop in anytime to see the kitten before filling out the application. That afternoon we stopped in and instantly fell i love with the kitten! I had advised the ladies that we looked about adopting somewhere else but we're told our application was denied for having an un neutered male dog! the lady advised that wouldn't be a problem and proceeded to tell us that we could fill out an application for adoption. Let's just stop here for a second if they needed proof of our dog being neutered and we told them he wasn't, why tell us we could fill out an application! HOWEVER, they make exceptions for "rare" dog breeds and an AKC full blood standard poodle is not considered to be anything special according to them! Next, let's move on to the vet issue! I called my vet to contact this establishment Friday 7/21/23 which they did! However, because my dog isn't up on vaccinations and heart worm which he has an appointment scheduled for 8/12/23 they want to make it sound like we neglect our dog and don't take proper care of our dog! Our dog is apart of a strict contract-bound agreement, in a breeding program where he has to be up to date on vaccinations, etc. Sorry, we use a reputable vet in town and that's the soonest they can get him in for his yearly! But because I don't make frequent visits to the vet besides his yearly we're not "fit" to adopt from them. I'm sorry I have a healthy 3 year old poodle who doesn't need to go to the vet unless it's for updated vaccinations! Although, we told them this and they said if we have an appointment card that's a different story, go ahead and call my vet and see we're on the books for 8/12/2023. I love the idea of these shelters to be able to provide homes for animals that don't have a fair chance at life! However, the lack of communication was awful. If the neutering was an issue then why continue to have us fill out an application for adoption? I know they stand for stop the over population of pets but when in history has a dog ever impregnated a cat? also all their cats are to come spayed? So I am very confused. This place is not fit to house all these cats, they need adopted but yet deny a very applicable applicant for reasons that just don't make sense; because we don't have "special breed" un neutered dog according to these volunteers! The unprofessional behavior of these volunteers that have to deal with the public, maybe they should have a more intensive application for volunteers to run this establishment. These poor cats have to share bowls, others locked in pet carriers, and dirty litter boxes throughout the home they are in. I feel sorry for the environment these cats are living in, waiting to be adopted into a loving and clean home. We went out bought cat litter, litter box, food, food bowls, toys, a carrier to transport the kitten in; 100s of dollars that now have no use for! Which at this rate will be donating to a rescue that cares about their cats and getting adopted out to loving homes.
