Perfect spot for our picnic! We brought our own food in and found a shady spot to eat lunch. The employees are very friendly and the gardens were gorgeous. We had fun meandering around and looking for the peacocks. Also loved the special lego displays.
Kingwood Center Gardens is the historic garden estate and former home of Charles Kelley King, who was an influential industrialist and visionary at the Ohio Brass Company.
Prior to his death in 1952, Mr. King created a private trust agreement to open Kingwood as a garden estate for touring, activities, and education. During your visit, make sure to dine in the Gateway Café, stop by the Garden & Gift Shop, and explore the stunning gardens.
Kingwood Center Gardens opened in 1953 and has been a special place for generations of visitors to make lifetime memories.
