I brought a horribly sick kitten I found while at work to this office. she desperately needed to see a vet. This place got me in the same day I called. Unfortunately, the kitten which I named Lucy was in real bad shape and I had to make a very hard decision to have her put down, which broke my heart. I wanted to thank this office for their compassion, professionalism, and understanding. I had no idea this vet was nearby. I will be bringing my own animals as well as any strays I find to this office from now on. Thank you for helping me give Lucy a pain less ending. Rip Lucy. I really wish I had found you sooner. ??

I had to get my kitten in before her vaccinations expired, so she had three days to get her boosters. I called Lilac Hill and the receptionist was able to get me in the same day. Lindsay and D.V.M Kelly were great with Indy! Kelly took the extra time to take very good care of Indy’s ears, which meant a lot. The office smells great when you walk in also! I would recommend this veterinary office to anyone!

We took our puppy Wednesday here for her first visit and she loved it! She did so well because everyone was so amazing and nice! We are glad to make this our home vet!

My 1st initial appointment was great but it went down hill after that !!! ! They don’t treat their staff well and please if your are a smoker STAY CLEAR they don’t like you smelling like smoke LOL there is many other vet clinics in the area I would look into ? ?

I cannot express how grateful I am to the staff of Lilac Hill. This is my first time as a pet owner and they made my trip to the vet easy. Every single person was so understanding and kind. All of my questions were answered. I left feeling like both my pet and I were cared for and that I had put my trust in the right hands.

Just moved into the area, and this was the first vet we took our dog to. Talking to the receptionist on the phone, she was not eager to get me off the phone. She answered every question and addressed any concerns, and even gave me advice. I have talked to 3 different people on the phone, and each one of them was nice and professional and straightforward! Taking our fur baby in, we did not have any surprise expenses as soon as we told them what was going on with our dog. we were given an estimated statement. No surprises, and everyone was super sweet to our dog. Would definitely recommend it to anyone! Reasonably priced, too!
(This is when it was HULL Veterinary Clinic with Dr. Hull... Dr. Hull was the best.)
I took my boxer (who is in a wheelchair) here, now Lilac Hill, when he was showing signs of having a UTI. There was talk from the vet tech about euthanasia with him not having the use of his back legs) and whatnot. But we came in for his UTI to be addressed. Between the cost of a catheter vs. me collecting a urine sample, I was charged more for my collecting the urine sample vs. them actually using a catheter.
His UTI didn't go away. They talked about doing an x-ray and a needle in his bladder. I drove to centerburg to another vet I used to go to. He gave my dog another antibiotic that worked...
I do NOT feel like Lilac will be our go-to vet anymore. I would rather make the drive to Dr. Altizer in Centerburg or try another vet.

Both Katie RVT and Dr Congdon were pleasant, professional, and handled my cat with care and compassion. Dr Congdon did a very thorough physical exam and was clear and forthcoming with information. I felt very comfortable having my kitty under their care.

Had to take my cat in for an emergency, had like 45min left before they closed they got us in and the Dr Kris Hamilton even stayed to help us out!! Thank You!! probably the best experience I've ever had for such a bad situation, they took care of Dorito and was very helpful, I left knowing they have won my business and vet needs couldn't be happier the girl at the counter was awesome! good people and I'm very thankful to everyone who helped us out! Thank you so much!!

I recently had the misfortune of losing a pet and Dr. Stoner and everyone on staff here were so great facilitating end of life care. Their kindness and understanding cannot be overstated. They made a particularly difficult time easier to get through.
It is also worth mentioning that Lilac Hill offered these services at a reasonable cost. Oftentimes, in these situations, the bill can feel like a budgetary insult added to the painful injury of losing a loved one, and I was thankful not to feel that way when all was said and done here.

Horrible experience here, felt like I wasn’t being listened to and also felt like I was being judge. Brenda was my registered technician and she was very pushy kept trying to make me feel like I needed to buy medicine that was not needed just kept trying to make me spend money on things that were not needed. Don’t recommend very pushy and judge mental place.

It was easy and fast to get my pet bunny into Lilac Hill Veterinary Hospital. I found the Veteranarian kind and knowledgeable as well as her staff. I look forward to me and my bunny getting to know them better.
