“We attended a monthly meeting as we became members this club. Meeting got off as usual, but close to the end a situation occurred and I feel it should of been addressed to straighten out. I heard privately by both sides and since I'm a new member I'm not getting involved. Hopefully this matter gets straighten out. The ther two people that came with us not sure they will rejoin when membership up. They have seen this in other clubs.”

“Took my son to this splash pad and it was great. Yes this is good for small children, including children that may take a little encouragement to play in the water. There is a pavilion for shade with plenty of tables, chairs and sun chairs. Lots of options for splashing and spraying so if your little ones want to stay mostly dry or get completely soaked, there is something for everyone. Clean, organized. It was $5 for the kids and adults that did not get wet were not charged.”
“There’s free prepackaged uncooked food out every morning at 9:30am or 10:00am or later (whenever the truck arrives). It’s a lot of bread and canned goods, sometimes produce, that has dents or is near expiration. Then there’s the once-a-month box where you get to choose from refrigerated and frozen goods - there’s good stuff if you get there early and are the first people to sign in. They also give you a large cardboard box full of canned and dry goods, but it’s off brands and it’s hard to give the stuff away to family; never anything in there I want to eat.Get there an hour early; be prepared to sit for a long time in the lobby and wait it out next to people from all walks of life, all personalities, all states of mental wellness and physical wellness. Be kind and give up your seat and stand if you can. They serve everybody. Loving, accepting, and they don’t judge. Don’t take what you don’t need because there’s somebody there who needs the limited supply more than you do. Not sure what happens to people who are home bound or too weak or sick to come in person and wait long periods. Had to go here once or twice during a hard week. Also donated surplus goods a few times when I’ve moved. Glad they’re around.”
