Good experiences! You can count on the safety of the service on your equipment which happens to be important in scuba.

Staff was very helpful and patient with me, even though I admit I was a bit rude. I bought some cool stuff but I had to sell it all because of the gas prices. Thanks

I can't explain my frustration. For my granddaughter's 16th birthday we paid for her to take PADI classes, purchased mask, snorkel and fins, then paid for her to do her Open Water at the quart in Lima, OH. It's been over a year and dozens of calls, emails begging and pleading to have them submit her paperwork. I strongly recommend never using this company!

Thank you for teaching us and being patient. Learned a lot and pool on sight !! Felt prepared when we did open water in the ocean. Our son and daughter are also PADI certified. ??????

Myself, son-in-law, and 3 grandkids from 11-16 all had a great time. The instructors were informative, fun, patient. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

If you want to get a divers license, I’d recommend avoiding this shop. I paid for the training, took the class and passed, but couldn’t afford to do the open water dive at the time. I put it off until I was able to afford it.When I was able to afford to finish and get my license, I called the shop and they told me I need a refresher since it’s been a year since I took the class.Okay that’s fine, I’ll take a refresher.7 months of calling and trying to get something scheduled, I have given up. They will not give me the refresher they told me I need, so I can take my open water dive. I cannot go anywhere else and take a refresher, either. It has to be the shop you took the class at. So I either have to go to another shop and pay for another class, or just not get my license. All in all, this shop is by far the worst shop I’ve ever had the displeasure of being involved with. They took my money, and won’t let me do anything to get my license without paying for another class at another shop.

I got my Open Water and Advanced Open Water certifications at Underwater World in 2003. Just today we used their pool for some practice time. It's a great little shop for all your basic scuba diving needs.

Walter Roth - padi instructor is the worth. I had a terrible experience with him at Gilboa Quarry couple years ago. Very disrespectful, awful guy. This type of individuals shouldn't be ever allowed to train other people. Please save your money and choose other instructor. I hope he doesn't work there anymore! Other instructors are nice and friendly.

Customer service this poor deserves a review. My experience at Underwater World Scuba lasted roughly one minute. The woman at the front desk was friendly, greeted me, and directed me to a bearded man who could assist in filling my HPA paintball tank. The man first scolded me for the temperature of the cylinder. This was due to it sitting in my car seat in the sun on the way there. The cylinder reaches a higher temperature than this once the compressed air is filled, I mentioned this and it was acknowledged. I was then told my cylinder was out of date (just re-hydro tested last month, with label stating this). I was then told air fill on the 4500psi cylinder would only be 3000psi. “No problem” I say and then I am reminded that the cylinder says 4500psi. I am aware of this, I own the cylinder and understand that it can accommodate 3000 or 4500 psi. Once we painstakingly worked through this dialogue, I was quoted $10 for a 3000psi fill on a 50 cubic inch cylinder. I told him no thanks, I’d have it filled somewhere else and was literally laughed out the door by the man. Outside of this interaction, my best description of this individual is a big fish in a small pond. My interpretation based on existing reviews is that he must treat Scuba customers well and make an effort to turn away filling other cylinders with aggressive and condescending customer service rather than turn it away at the door.

This dive center knows their stuff and takes it seriously. Friendly folk, tons of dive experience. They have a nice heated pool for training and practice.

Won't return. Dropped off a tank for a fill, stopped by a couple times over the next few days but wasn't ready. Waited about two weeks and when I go to pick it up, it's not $10 anymore, now it's $28 because it needed a visual. Should've called, like to be informed. Lady tried to only charge the original $10 but trust is lost. Wont go back
