Just want to say every time I deal with Brian and his team they have always done an excellent job for me. Just had them install a new lift and rims on my truck and they did a great job like always. I am very pleased with their work as always and is why I’m a repeat customer and will continue to come back to them. I had 5-6 return appointments for a radio and speaker install.
The first 2-3 returns were for a radio. Radio was fine, the dash lit up with check engines and VSA in the parking lot, before leaving the shop. I’ve had the truck for some time, it’d never done that before. They scanned it, ultimately it went away on its own. I chalked the occurrences up to flukes and went on my way.
The old speakers were blown out, so I paid to have them replaced. I retrieved the truck, and, lo and behold the windows didn’t work at all. (They all worked without fail before). I chalked it up to a fluke, again, mistakes happen. Maybe they forgot a clip, we’re all human. I took it back. They replugged in the windows, and now the drivers rear window didn’t work.
Again, I offered grace. It worked fine when it went in. Instead of demanding the truck windows worked fine like when they got in, I ate the quoted 250-300 dollar broken window motor that wasn’t broken when they took the door apart, chalked it up to another fluke and moved on. They disconnected it, and I was fine with the solution.
Some time later, the radio cut out randomly. I took it back. He said the window seal on one door caused rain to leak in. I was skeptical because I had been back to this shop several times at this point, the old speakers didn’t have that problem, abut again, tried to give some understanding and grace by just leaving it be.
This AM, the broken window motor had rolled down.
They plugged the broken motor back in when I returned to the shop the 5th or 6th time. It rolls down and again doesn’t roll up.
I called the guy and explained my grievances. He says we can work with the parts we are given, implying it was the truck. Excuse me? The truck was fine (speakers worn but worked, didn’t cut out, radio not intermittently rattling, windows went up and down) when you got it. I wanted the radio and speakers, this isn’t the space shuttle, it’s not that hard. I took it to a shop to not have a hacked job.
I now have a truck with a window down that doesn’t roll back up, a radio that rattles intermittently on the fine lake county roads, and am down (probably) 4-500 dollars between the 2 initial jobs, the cost of a window motor (per them, 250 ish) 5-6 attempts of taking my truck there, and a fair bit of emotional currency. One time is chance, twice is coincidence, 3 times a pattern, 4th time is a habit, and 5th time makes me a fool.

Buyers beware! Family member had stereo installed. Was not right and they didn’t back it up. Had to take elsewhere and pay to correct. Turns out it was wired wrong.Not good business to not back your service up.I don’t generally leave reviews but this was just wrong.
