“This is a WONDERFUL place. I was looking for a new vet closer to home and honestly was having a hard time finding one. Everything was so expensive and the care was not great. I am now in the process of switching all my animals to this vet.
Dr. Jackson and staff are phenomenal. He is so patient, doesn’t rush you, and is so good with my animals. He’s also laid back which I appreciate. I feel like other vets made me feel bad like I wasn’t doing enough for my animals, but I never once felt that way. I cannot recommend enough. Prices are also reasonable. Everyone was great here, from walk in to leaving.
If you’re looking for a new vet, I cannot recommend them enough. This is seriously the place I was waiting to find.”
“Ok, I can't say enough good about Dr Faulkner and his staff. We weren't patients for very long. Our Baxter who was only 10 mos old had to b put down last night. The clinic was technically closed but Dr Faulkner and the staff stayed to do surgery. As soon as we came in the door they were all over us, loving on Baxter and and reassuring me. Unfortunately sometimes things like this happen and no matter the love or care received isn't enough. This was my Bax. He was only 10 mos old. He absolutely loved everyone at the Gentle Vet. They make you feel so welcomed and provide quality care for your pet. I will be forever grateful to them for the love and excellent care they showed my baby. When the time is right, I'm sure I'll b a mom again and the Gentle Vet is where I'll be coming. They are truly wonderful people. Thanks everyone for all you did.”

“Yes, this place is pricey. However, it is worth it. I will be for sure be coming back here whenever I can. Staff was very nice and also friendly. They were also very helpful. Dr. Litwak took care of my cat and he was very pleasant, along with his assistant. One last thing, they were very gentle with my cat and did everything in front of me! :)”

“So I just got my first dog from the pound and I brought him to family pet clinic for his first check up since rescuing him. everything was fine, my dog was comfortable and relaxed at the place and everyone was friendly. the tech and the vet were very courteous and patient with my dog he was well behaved also by the way LOL but after my first check up with the dog and feelings the "vibe" from the doctors and staff I feel it's going to be a great fit for me and my pooch.. I recommend this place for anyone with a pet they care about...this is juju”

“Doctors seem nice, so does staff. I think the prices are high, but that could be since I don’t have much money. I don’t know how comparable they are with other vets. They always fix the problem when there’s something wrong with one of my cats. I had a very sick kitten last year that had to be put too sleep. I took her there because I didn’t know what too do because she was dying. I was visibly upset, and had no money. She was dying and they took her in and put her too sleep and let me make payments. I know they don’t really let people make payments, but they did so in this case. I was trembling and I think they felt sorry for me and my kitten. I payed them back as soon as I could. I will never forget the kindness they showed, doing that for me and my kitten. I only wish they would have let me come in with her, but I couldn’t because of Covid. Recently I’ve taken two of my cats there because of health issues, and they are doing so much better. The one I took this week had a large and painful bladder with blood in his urine. The doctor took him back and found all this, and said he had crystallized stones in his bladder. He removed a large one which was causing a blockage. He told me he had too be on special prescription food too get rid of the stones, which is very expensive. I bought six cans because that was all I could afford, and I couldn’t get my cat too eat it too save his life. So I called office too see if there was medicine I could give instead, and hopefully something that would maybe be cheaper. The doctor said yes and prescribed it and I got it right there at the office. My cat has been on it for 3 days now and seems so much better. I can’t wait too tell Dr Kubera. I just wish he would have prescribed it in first place, but he didn’t know my financial situation at the time. The lady vet Dr Bishop is also good too. She treated one of my cats in October, and within 4 days my cat was all better. They may be expensive but at least they are saving animals lives. So if you ask me it’s worth it. If I had the money I would go there more often, and stop putting issues off so long. They get five stars for saving my kitties, even though the kitten was beyond saving, they did stop her suffering.”
“I never take the time to write reviews but -They fit me in last minute to check my cat Ellie’s stitches from getting spayed. Ellie has CH, so she is a wobbly cat and I am very careful with where I take her because of this. But I was worried they were infected and wanted to get somewhere quickly. They were kind and extremely quick to help. I was so worried because I had a flight in a few hours and they eased my worries. My boyfriend and I were so impressed with how calm Ellie was with them. She let them hold her and she laid in my lap while we waited for the vet. I LOVED this because I hate leaving her alone back there while waiting in the lobby at most vets. I am considering making this both of my cats’ main vet.”

“Dr Jay is incredibly kind & knowledgeable & takes all the time needed to take care of your pup. Never rushes through anything & makes sure to thoroughly explain everything. Has a sense of humor to keep even the more difficult visits lighthearted. After our one dogs passed away he found out through the oncologist and he sent us a sympathy card in the mail. That was very touching & thoughtful. I would recommend bringing your dog here 100/100 times. Very very fair pricing too & appointments can typically be made without needing to wait long.”
“Dr. Perdue and her entire staff are the most genuinely kind, compassionate, empathic, and highly educated people we have dealt with for our animals. There have been a multitude of issues our dogs and cats have had over the years and Dr. Perdue expertly diagnosed and treated them all with precision. She is an expert diagnostician and cares about the animal and family. We would be lost without her and her staff.”

She was stressed out because of the 4th of July and visitors staying with us from out of town. My girl is healing quite well from her procedure and she has a good prognosis going forward. I am thankful for Dr. Akl and the staff at Bartels for the level of care.
