The teachers and administrators at the Goddard School in Macedonia are fantastic with my children, both in attentiveness and compassion. Over the last two years both of my daughters have thrived here!

If any parents out there are looking for a welcoming and friendly environment for their child/children to learn and grow emotionally and socially, Goddard School of Macedonia is the place you want your little ones to go. The staff here is great at making your little ones look forward to an engaging day of fun and learning.

My son loves going to school every day! He hates to leave when it is time to go home! He has learned so much in the 3+ years he has been attending Goddard! The school is very welcoming and the staff is friendly and caring. Yes, childcare is expensive but Goddard is completely worth it! He has learned amazing social and academic skills that have prepared him for Kindergarten!

I wouldnt listen too much to the negative review. Hold is as only an opinion. Not every place is for every parent or child(ren).Another thing here you supply their meals. That can be a deal breaker for some. For me personally it can be annoying when I forget to prepack and run out the door only to remember I forgot to pack it...They will also never let your kid go hungry...so don't worry lol. Also at every daycare that has supplied meals....not so happy with what they HAVE to supply...with the exception for 2 daycares. But it can get frustrating easily just as much if not more so. So you always have your pros and cons either way you go. For me it's easy to prep my meals with leftovers and store them in containers for easy to grab meals which I usually do on Sundays. Also I've heard most people say this place is expensive. I feel it's well worth everything (even I don't enjoy paying the extra summer camp and yearly fee...but if you think about it and add everything up that they do....they don't ask for anything extra! My son last summer was kept soooo busy with so many field trips! These are things I'd be doing with him anyways if I wasn't working. So he's not just sitting in a building just being kept busy until pickup like most other places! Great social skill learning experiences too! This has been by far the best daycare experience ever. My kids (7y and 2y) love it here. We've been here for a year. They are very understanding and try to accommodate the best they can to every individual. I hate sending my kids away when I have the day off as I feel my children should be with me and would like to hangout with them but my son beggs me to send him here on his days off. They are also more understanding and patient sometimes to my son than I can be at times as a single parent of 2 small boys ?. They also understand kids/toddlers behaviors and correct them without making the kids or the parents feel put down. Very encouraging on positive reinforcement which is the direction we lean towards at home anyways. I've gone from private and at home daycare to daycare centers (too many). This place has helped rebuild my son's self-confidence and have seen a huge improvement in my son as far as that goes as well as self control is continuously improving (he's more trying to show off). I can tell a difference too when he goes there vs school and aftercare. His attitude and self-esteem is completely positive like he's another kid.We were both upset when we found out we were going to have to move. Thankfully I just found somewhere not too far where I can atleast keep him there for the summer. Not sure what next school year will bring or where we'll be going ?.Oh also I completely do not agree about the comment about the owner and staff. I would completely trust them even outside the daycare with my children. I almost wish we had off center activities ? but I guess the staff have to have lives too with their own family instead of only ours ??

Both of my children had the opportunity to go to the Macedonia Goddard from an early age through preschool after I went back to work. The teachers from room to room never let us down. I always felt comfortable when I left to go to work because I knew they were in good hands. The daily communication and pictures reassured me that I made the best choice. The curriculum also had them well prepared for when they entered kindergarten. My children still talk about Goddard and the memories they made there.

We loved the experience our daughter had over the 3 years she attended this school. Not only did she receive quality care, but her growth in both social and academic areas was tremendous. We also experienced wonderful communication in all forms; there wasn't a day that I went without a snapshot to provide a glimpse into our child's day at school. Our family became close with all of the staff members we encountered, as they were incredibly personable and vested in our involvement and participation with the school. Additionally, we were impressed with the school's interest in the community and the individuals within it; huge support for many a worthy cause was evident on a continual basis. As a parent, and an early childhood educator, I would highly recommend this school as a safe, caring, and positive environment for any child.

The staff really cares about the kids and their families, and this culture starts with the owner. The communication with parents is impressive, as is the environment for learning right when you walk in the doors. You know your kids' lives are going to be enriched through the approach at this school. It gives parents great peace of mind knowing that their kids will be learning so much in such a safe environment. Thank you Macedonia Goddard!

Unacceptable level of care.I've found a daycare facility needs an owner who is either passionate about children, or business minded enough to hire a manager who is passionate about children. This place fits neither criteria. This facility is run like the owners parents handed him a daycare so he would be gainfully employed, and he is treating it like a cash cow actively pulling as much money out as possible. Our children screamed in protest every day for 4 months at this daycare, a syndrome not present at neither their previous daycare nor their current one. The staff was unpleasant to deal with and we caught them lying about silly things several times over (including the owner and manager). Also, and most importantly our kids came home injured nearly every day, bleeding at least twice a week. I tried to write it off as rambunctious children getting into a phase, but it stopped immediately when we switched to another local daycare. I suspect this Goddard's level of care was basically negligent. Our previous daycare was a Goddard in Fairlawn we liked a lot. As it turns out Goddards are franchised and the quality is determined by who the owner is.

We greatly appreciated the experiences at Goddard. Our entire family spent more than six years with the school. We particularly enjoyed the center based learning, kids aren't just left to sit and play our children learned a lot. I'd recommend this school.
