A better name is Tax Amateurs. After accepting a nonrefundable $200 deposit and waiting 2 months, they told me that they did not know how to complete my filing. Absolute waste of time and money.

However the response I got back was " Nate, Glad you do not read the news and you think you are our only client. Please come pickup your documents and find another preparer. To respond to one of my patients with such lack of professional candor is entirely unacceptable. I would never mistreat my clients, patients, or patrons in such a manner. I hope this was an oversight or just a bad day that shined through by mistake. I will follow their request and acquire a true business professional to handle my CPA needs from this day forward. I am fully aware I am not your only client, and to insult my intelligence is disgraceful. Remember in the future to treat your clients with respect instead of belittling them!

Tracy at Tax Pros does a nice job of getting us in the good graces of Uncle Sam and the other "Uncles" we are all beholden to. They get very busy at tax time so it is best if you make an appointment well ahead of when you want to get in there to get your taxes done. Nice small clean office with a waiting area. Tracy is fun to talk to and is a no BS type, she will run the numbers for you in a variety of ways (all legal of course) to see how you should file (Married, or Married filing separating for example). She doesn't play any games so if you want to try and skirt the rules it would probably be best if you went somewhere else. Overall, I have been getting my taxes done here for as long as we have lived in Ohio, which is about 6 years at this point. I will continue to see them when the tax man comes calling because I trust them. If you are in need of a good tax person, a real professional not these HR Block types then give Tax Pro's a try.
