used this place for swim lessons for a while until they changed lifeguard directors and then would no longer let kids play in the water before and after classes. ALSO, the older women here who teaches littles to swim is extremely impatient and purposely let go of my child to almost drown when he was 4 years old and i should honest sue this place for negligence and hiring such disgusting "teachers".
the pool deck is also not very clean and id always wear slippers because of the hair and mold. water fountains have mold. and their whole pool schedule is just terrible and barely lets you use it for open swim.
i wish this town would stop wasting money on frivolous events and concentrate on the quality of this community center first.

It use to be good only swimming teachers good but facilities front desk staff doesn't know anything and check on website, so expensive for membership as rec center,

Hope they close the place. What a waste of money this place is! Hope you don’t join to take your little kids swimming like I did. They close the whole entire pools down for classes instead of sectioning off certain areas for others to swim. Love taking my kids here and being told all pools are closed or occupied, how is there not a pool always open for people to swim in? Staff at front door is always rude and never friendly either. Waste of money and would not recommend at all to anyone.

Tried their five day free pass for my family of four. After the sign up process at the desk we we're told hardly any information, not given a tour or anything and we're left aimlessly wander and all we found was workout areas nothing for kids. We ended up at the pool where the deep end was taken up with older people swimming laps in the open areas leaving no room. Tried to use the kids pool and got yelled at the whole time by the life guard for our kids playing independently (6, 9) because they weren't in arms reach of us but can swim independently? Everyone seemed annoyed that we were even in the water. There is nothing to do for kids there and it's not a welcoming environment for families. Lots of dirty looks and every single person in the facility is 40+. It felt like a nursing home not a recreational center. Why do a whole remodel but only cater to one type of guest. That one try was enough for us to not come back again.

Please renovate the family changing area!! This should of been the first thing to get renovated. It is small and crowded with only one shower, one bathroom, and one changing room for so many families! The shower curtain never gets washed, smells like mold, has mold on it. Please consider expanding and renovating the family change area for parents who have kids that can't go into the same bathroom.

I love this recreation center, but why is working hours only till 9pm? a lot of people work till 7, 8pm! 3 stars only cos the gym doesn't work at least till 11pm

Macedonia Rec has plenty of great equipment for everyone's fitness goals and preferences. It is always well-maintained and the staff is helpful.

The hot tub is so big!! Lots of great equipment. The shower heads aren’t adjustable though. My husband said the men’s shower didn’t have hot water. We were there in the evening .One suggestion they have shower gel in the bathroom in a dispensary. Would be great !If they can try to keep around the pool a less slippery.Definitely a tour or signs to different areas. I was never in there. I kept getting to the wrong area.

Great place for work out. Prices are very reasonable for residents. They have swimming pool, steam room, Sona, as well as the regular work out machines. They also have a wonderful park right outside the rec center with a lake. The park is free and doesn't require a membership. Definitely worth checking out. Would recommend this place.

Just have to say that macedonia rec center is so much nicer than twinsburg one. The staff is very friendly and helpful and even if their having class they have part of the pool open for free swim. I love the hot tub sunna & Steam room. Twinsburg doesn't have any of that.
