“My girlfriend and I did glass blowing this afternoon (at the Goldhorn Brewery location) and we had a blast! I made a glass ball and she did a flower and they came out great. Tina was an awesome teacher and so personable. What a cool art to learn! We’ll be back.”
“Jerry has designed and made a few pieces for us. He is very creative and gets excited about the pieces and wants them to be as perfect as possible.There was a glass backsplash for a prep sink. He made a beautiful colorful wavy diffuser for our kitchen. We moved and now it is in the foyer. Always gets compliments.He is now making hanging pieces to go over the kitchen island. The attention and care from Jerry has been wonderful about keeping us informed while also asking questions to ensure he understands what we want.”
“What can I say other than, wow. From the wonderful welcome at the front door with dueling propane heater flumes to the patient and kind front staff as you walk in, it's immersive to say the very least. This isn't just a "thing to do" it's a genuine experience. I came with my daughter (7 - her first time) and it was fabulous. From the welcoming staff at the front desk to the 2 forge specialists (Dominic and Lindy) that spent their time, patience and experience with my daughter, to the dinner we had next door afterward at M Italian (I understand not affiliated but it was a collective evening for us), it was perfect. My daughter was at first a bit reserved but quickly empowered through the confidence building of Dominic and Lindy leading her through the process, encouraging and guiding her to what will always be a great night for her. She truly enjoyed everything about it and talked about it all throughout dinner. I cannot fully express the absolute joy I felt in seeing her smile and interest. I took many photos and videos all of which we've still been talking about and reliving together. The atmosphere is fun, exciting and welcoming. The creative opportunity to see your daughter (or yourself) create something from basically simplistic foundational elements is quite invigorating and fun! I cannot more highly recommend everyone try this at least once. For us, this will now be a regular excursion and Daddy/Daughter date. I look forward to bringing her again in the very near future. Thank you Glass Asylum, we will be coming back again and again!”

From ceramic bird houses that look like animal faces, to bottle top art, to glass faces with gold teeth, to semi-precious stones. Not your average children’s toys, clever hanging sculptures, everywhere your eyes rest is a treat. A lovely selection of unique jewelry, and the very best thing? An in house big beautiful German Shepherd boi, who is sweet and polite! What more could you ask for. This place won’t disappoint. (Plus they have craft nights! Squee!)”
“First visit was a Sunday. Website and hours listed on door said open Sunday till 5:00p.m. At 3:30, even though signs hanging in windows said "Open", no one was there. Called and left message. The next morning, the manager called back and explained that the person who was supposed to be there didn't show up and she was out of town. Very friendly message.Went back and service was good, very knowledgeable, good products.”

“We hosted a sold out edition of Secret Society Comedy at Waterloo Arts last week and felt the sense of community from the moment Amy and I had our first conversation about potentially working together. Great space to support local artists, have a drink at the bar, and catch a comedy show in their black box theater. Hope to be back soon!”

“Important contemporary art space for the Cleveland scene. Nice intimate openings usually include artist presentations. Free to visit. Two spaces here with art--ask the gallery attendant to show you. Also visit the Artist Archives of the Western Reserve while you're here. They share the building.”

“This store centers around high-end antiques that would have been expensive luxury goods even at the time that these items were new. They have extensive collections of silver flatware and other Victorian gaudy furnishings and some paintings most of their items are large and expensive not much of the stores inventory would be cheaper than $50. But everything in the store is at a very high luxury quality and none of the items are very aged simply out of date.”
“I wanted to check out a black owned art gallery and I found one in my hometown. Upon arrival, there was plenty of free parking on the street. But when I arrived the business wasn't opened on time. The owner (I'm assuming) was 15 minutes late to open. But after opening, it was a great experience. I really loved the local art inside of this business. And I really need to sit down and purchase a piece (and find out where I want it). Note: buying art from here is an investment.”
“We need some framework done and we're hoping to keep it local. Drove down to shop during what show to be open hours here and there was a sign on the door with new hours. Needless to say... not open. Kinda disappointed. Will try again another time.”
“Looking at building from the street, parking lot is to the left of it. Free parking. Enter through door closest to it. There are stairs to go up. Galleries and boutique shops. I visited Bolt and Spool fabric, needlework and notions. Took me forever to find the place. It is not obvious that it is inside the galleries.”
