The receptionist is so rude and obviously hates her job. From all the reviews I’ve read, the bad ones are solely based on how they were treated by the receptionist. I feel bad for the vet who has lost so much business because of her. I’ve never left a bad review on any business in my whole life.

I have a dog that my aunt and uncle have for companionship, but I take care of his bills. My aunt made him an appointment to be seen for a head tilt and trouble walking, I was unaware of the appointment until the last minute, I called in to talk to them about the appointment, and that I would help cover the cost. My aunt and uncle are elderly so they had called a couple family members as well to help with the bill, which I was unaware of so by time I called into the vet, other family members had already called. I explained to the receptionist that he is Legally my dog and she told me that if I did not provide records, they were going to give him a rabies vaccine regardless. I understand that is a requirement, however, there wasn’t even a chance to get records sent over from my other vet. I explained to her that I would get those in which we did, she was very condescending on the phone. I asked her why she was being so rude and she was angry because there were other people calling in about this dog. My aunt and uncle again our elderly. They were unaware that it was an issue that other people pay the bill. As a receptionist, it is your job to answer the phone. The lack of compassion or care of that this place provided today was pretty disheartening. The doctor was also a Rude over the phone. The dog went undiagnosed, and we were told to go see specialist when the dog had every symptom of vestibular syndrome. He was also not knowledgeable about in-home euthanasia and tried to tell me that it was illegal. it is not. I had to explain to him that Angels paws is a third-party and they do in-home home with authorization from the vet that diagnosed your pet. He really made it seem only option other than going to Med Vet when a more thorough exam could’ve been done at this and be able to diagnose the dog. He also stated the dog barely had a heartbeat, and it could be from heartworm. He just completely assumed we have never given the dog prevention a day in his life. I corrected him and explained to him that the dog has been on prevention so it is not Heartworm. There were no questions asked about our dog and any history on him. The rudeness and lack of care provided today was truly disappointing. He gave our dog trazadone, which does nothing for his symptoms. I will never recommend or use this clinic again. I suggest taking your animals somewhere else if you want real answers. This was a nightmare. Never again. They seemed too inconvenienced.

Jarrod is a great veterinarian. He's been very good with my dogs over the years. My issue is with his receptionist. She has no personality and had absolutely no compassion when we had to put our dog down. Such a shame that a great veterinarian has someone like that working for him.
