“Trustworthy. The thing you want most in a mechanic. Best mechanic in Tipp City! We have used Lee's garage so many times and although we haven't always been happy with the diagnosis of our vehicles, (they have been the bearer of bad news by no fault of their own) they have time and time again proved their trustworthiness. This latest one that prompted the review....he fixed an issue with the engine and the engine was supposed to be under warranty and he was having a terrible time getting them to cover what should be covered. A few weeks after we had already picked up and paid for it, I got an unexpected call that they have a check for us...when the warranty finally came through after he hassled them instead of pocketing the money he gave it to us. This is why we keep going here. They aren't the cheapest out there, but we trust them.”

“Have taken my cars here many times--great service and great pricing! Most recently, our 2006 van was vibrating at certain speeds. When I first called to set up an appt., Ruby suggested that I first get the tires rotated and balanced at a tire shop, as that is what the problem usually is. I appreciated that! I got that done and the vibration was still there, so then I booked an appt. They found that the original CV axles were the issue. As they disassembled the van to replace the CV axles, these they found that the lower control arms and ball joints were extremely worn to the point where it was a safety issue, and recommended doing this repair and putting off the CV axles if the cost was too high to do both jobs together. I had them do both, and the van rides like new!”

About two weeks later took my other car in for brake job and oil change. The rear brakes needed replaced after 50,000 mile but the front were fine. I appreciated Dan saying no need to worry about the front brakes this time. We trust Dan. Reasonable prices. ?”

“We just bought our son his first car here. We had been to several dealerships before stopping here and we saw tons of cars that trash thrown inside, glove boxes falling off, and overall terrible taken care of vehicles for the same price. We ended up getting our son a very well taken care of vehicle that was clean and priced perfectly for the car we bought. They didn’t pressure us and gave her a good wash before we left. We will be back in a few years when our daughter needs her first car.”
“Tim is excellent at what he does, and the most honest mechanic I've ever met. He saves all the parts he replaces, so you can see what was wrong with them. I've never had to take my car back there twice to fix a problem. Once it's fixed, it's fixed, and nothing else "suddenly" goes wrong, like I've experienced with some other shops. He doesn't automatically suggest that the problem is the most expensive thing to fix, also like I've experienced with other shops. If all you need is a $20 part, then that's what he fixes. He doesn't cheap out on his parts either. He might be a little bit pricier than other shops, but he's absolutely worth it. I've been going to Tim for a couple of years, and I'll never take my car anywhere else. Also wanted to add that his shop has moved, and he's now at 726 S Walnut St.”

“Took vehicle in to have all new brake pads and rotors and to get park brake working. While doing this, they found a rear axle seal leaking and fixed right away. Also, they found a broken engine mount and were able to get me on the schedule within a couple of days. Fair prices , great work, and friendly staff.”
“Very friendly staff(Update)After picking my navigator up from getting new tires, they told me I had other front-end issues which they explained I needed more front-end work done. I have never gone to a shop that actually was concerned for the safety of not only me but the safety of my family. They got me in a quick as they could and fixed everything that was wrong. Also for all of our safety they asked me to bring it back in 500 miles to retorque the lug nuts and even had me sign a paper for it. I won't go to any other tire place from now on”

He changed the MAP sensor, installed a new intercooler for my turbo charger, and welded in a new flex exhaust pipe between the catalytic converter and the exhaust.
