The office management has been very attentive during the viewing and application process at river ridge. We had a few things we had to work around on top with being remote and they were very responsive and helpful. I am excited to be a part of this community!

Everyone was fabulous. Wish they had more models in the Lawrence and 3 bedrooms. (not their fault)

The rental agent was great. Very professional. The buildings and the actual apartment was dark and tacky. The stairs are dark, and you can actually hear the floors creek. I am sure the noise level is so bad there. Overall, extremely disappointed with the entire place and the unkept dog area.

We recently moved out and got our full security deposit back. I wonder why? because we did not damage and took care of our apartment. all of these other reviews are clearly from people who damaged the property and are upset because they didn't wanna pay the charges. I truly loved living here. Katie in the office is one of the best people to work with. They are all super professional

All the other recent reviews are true. On the way out, even if you are as clean as possible, and the apartment is in functional order, they will charge you for complete replacement of things erroneously, rather than attempting to do the minor things that come with normal "wear and tear". We also received the fridge charge over minor scratches from a magnet, which is laughable. Replacing an entire door over using appropriate solutions that would easily help resurface would remedy the problem....The stains in the carpet they charge you for, if are pet stains, should be covered by the pet deposit and fee they insist on tacking on, but they love to take advantage of people, so why wouldn't they also tack that on the back end? (Sarcasm). They will bill you beyond expectation and expect you to pay it out. They're rude people, when asked of anything. The maintenance does nothing, definitely does not show up in a timely manner (we waited weeks at a time) and leaves no documentation they were in your apartment, which felt very invasive and also useless. Our power went out often at the slightest bit of a wind storm, and also our water pressure dropped without notice several times. The lack of snow removal cost me, as I was unable to make a scheduled shift at work due to their carelessness. There was also many times where salt wasn't put on the sidewalks during snow and ice, and I'm not surprised to hear that people were hurt over that. They loved to throw away my pet-grade air filters to replace them with their cheap ones (that was an additional cost to me, just leave it in the closet for me to put back? Why?). We just stopped asking them to fix things, and fixed them ourselves. The appliances are scratch and dent, seemingly old from the early 2000's. Not luxury. Also, loveland madeira road is a LOUD road to live off of, and we suspect the apartments are not insulated because we could hear every engine noise and loud music at all hours. We could also hear our neighbors very clearly. This is not the peaceful retreat you think it will be. I got a second job just to get out of this place.Dangerous, greedy, lazy, rude, loud....Don't live here.

This apartment doesn’t deserve a star. They will charge you with normal wear and tear because they don’t want to give back your security deposit and will charge you extra. They are running a SCAM with security deposit. BEWARE

Like many reviewers here have already said, river ridge will scam you. I lived here for over 3 years. After I moved out, they sent me a charge of over $800 for “scratch” on a fridge and a freezer door. This was already there when I moved in but now they are charging me for this. I have started reaching out to all the renters this property has scammed. Something must be done about this stealing. Avoid this property. There are a lot other things that I will post here in due course“ potential fees” - that is not the issue. If I caused a damage, then sure. But if you make up charges in other to keep security deposit and charge extra, then you are extorting money from your tenants. How many people have you charged “scratch” on a fridge door? Go through the reviews and see how many people you have charged unfairly. You have been sued before for this practice but it seems to be your business model. I know you send people to collections if they don’t pay. I could just pay and be done with you scammers but on principle, I will fight this charge no matter what.

If I can give a zero to this apartment I will. They will STEAL your security deposit.I stayed here for 3 years and some months with no pets and children and yet they managed to tell us that we had some damages to their Fridge door. They also told us that we had stains on the toilet seat.Mind you, they will not give you a new fridge nor toilet seat when you move . They will charge you extra on top of keeping your security deposit for old appliances.Beware of them!!!! They will scam you!

I lived in River Ridge for two years and we had to move due to the high increase in rent every year. We loved our apartment but we need to save money and wanted more space. Well I spent 4 days cleaning and getting the apartment ready to turn over. Well let me tell you, I received a letter from management stating that I would not be getting my deposit back and they were charging me over $300 for other expenses. I have NEVER not received a deposit back from the apartments that I have lived in. I was charged to replace the door of the fridge and front of the dishwasher for scratches( they are stainless)!!! Well the appliances were not in any worse condition than when I moved in. I was charged for excessive fifth and for stains on the carpet. Well when I moved in the carpet was NOT new and I lived there for 2 years so they would need to replace it but are charging me to have it cleaned??! They are charging me over $30 for drip pans that never fit the stove anyways and they do not cost even close to that. I would say take pictures when and if you move in and BEWARE- I feel like they robbed me of the money I deserved back!
