Only $5 per person to walk through. It doesn't take long to walk through. A lot of rooms are blocked off and you can't get to the roof. We enjoyed our short visit. It's definitely a place you go to only once in your life. I don't see myself ever going back. Nonetheless, uts interesting that he built the castle. The sword room was neat and some.of the other collectibles we nice to look at.

Great place to see a "medieval Castle" in our own country! The story begins the builder was incredible and a testament to his life and what a human can do when you put your all in to it. Very safe for the children as well as educational. The staff was very knowledgeable and helpful as well. The road leading in is rather steep and curvey. Great place to have a picnic if the weather is nice.

We did the wine tasting event and it was very pretty. It was fun, the music was good and it was an overall very cool experience. The castle was lit up also and we were able to go inside to see the history of the castle. I would go back!

This space is amazing. The man who built this castle is inspiring. He truly understands the concept of giving and "paying it forward". Every piece of this place has been made by his hands. The rocks came from the river and he created and formed each brickthat made the interior walls. He was a man of vision and strong Christian values. That inspired the future generations with the creation of the " round table" which he used to send youth to college. This is a great place to take the family. Children will love the variety of armored knights in the rooms as well as the wall of swords. The grounds are creative with various flowerbeds including one with a dragon that appears to be coming out of the ground. It even has a dungeon with bone remains. Every part of this castle has been carefully and creatively done! At just 5.00/per person it won't break the bank either.

Be sure to watch the videos that give the history of Sir Harry Andrews, the man who built Loveland Castle. There is a room to the right of the main entrance that runs videos on a loop.Anyone who has interest in the Renaissance would enjoy touring this one of a kind castle. It is self guided so you can spend as much or little time as you wish. Those keeping the castle open to the public are doing a good job. Admission is only $5.00, Children under 5 are free.Currently the website lists hours as follows:Apri 1-Oct 31Hours daily11am -5pmNovember 1 -March 31Friday, Saturday and Sunday11am-5pmClosed Holidays

A beautiful scenic tourist attraction that isn't a trap. It's owned by some people that could absolutely make it a hot spot but I think they just love it. Not in it for the money or clout. Rich history and knowledge. If your anywhere in the Midwest it's a lil hard to find but castle de roche is just too cool for 5.00!!! What tourist attraction costs that anymore? None! U can leave and come back too! So why would you not go??Price for entry: $5.00

Neat little experience! Super friendly and helpful staff. A couple jump scares, because I spook easily, lol, but really cool place! If you have a moment, I’d try to stop by if it he area.

I've been coming here since I was a kid, but today was my husband's first time! It's a neat little castle built by an eccentric local and it's a fun way to spend an hour. For only $5, it's worth the visit.

This was a cool little stop I discovered using the Roadtrippers app. It was a fun place to visit, and I would recommend friends and family to visit if passing through. While the castle is very unique, it's more so the story of how it was made that makes it beautiful. When you visit make sure to stop in the room with the video explaining how and why the castle came to be, and all of the love and effort put into it, and some background on the Knights of the Golden Trail. When you come to visit, be careful driving down the road leading to the entrance as it is a steep slope and a very sharp curve. There are some picnic tables down by the river below the castle if you make this a scenic rest stop on your travels.

This review is for the wine tasting event. The castle and grounds were interesting and fun to explore. The wine tasting itself was fun . This is advertised as you get 5 drinks and the charcuterie snack. The five drinks were tastings and by tastings I mean maybe an oz. So keep in mind you are paying $50 for the castle and experience. The wine and food are not much. This is a fun event but I would probably only do it once because of the price.

Beautiful castle with a great story! Definitely more than worth the $5 entrance fee to help with the maintenance.
