I ordered two cakes for my kids. I wasn't expecting much however, I was extremely impressed with how they turned out, considering I only gave them a day and a half to do when I picked up the cakes. The guy behind the counter was so polite, helpful, and nice. all the workers at the store were smiling and helpful. When I checked out the cashier and bagger were so beyond nice that it was refreshing to be around. I don't usually go to this Kroger, but after this experience, I definitely will shop here more. It was just nice to be around nice people.

This is mainly a gripe with the bakery department at Kroger. I purchased a birthday cake for 25.99 and it was horribly done. The edges of the cake were completely exposed, there was no accent frosting on the edges, the entire container was covered in chocolate and white residue that got all over my dress just from transport. There was nobody working behind the counter when I arrived to pickup the cake so I unfortunately had to bother the kind customer service employee. It would've been cheaper and looked more presentable if I made it myself and that's probably what I'll do from now on. The quality was frankly embarrassing.

I don't recommend using this pharmacy specifically. The other Kroger pharmacies are fine but this one sucks. The staff is rude and are not knowledgeable on the medications they dispense. They also don't know how to read refills.

This review is for the bakery department.I ordered a cake from their online selection of specialty cakes. There are photos of what the cake is SUPPOSED to look like. I ordered the Mystic Mermaid cake, which is a lovely cake with turquoise-colored icing and turquoise & white decorative icing in the top corner of the cake. It appears suitable for any age group. This cake was meant for a female scuba diver / dive shop owner celebrating her 70th birthday. What I received was a cake with white icing and blue & purple decorative icing around the perimeter of the cake. It looked like a child's cake. Also, they left off part of the inscription that I requested, which was "70th" birthday. There was no time to ask for a redo of this order when I picked it up as our surprise birthday party was in 3 hours. At no time did the bakery contact me after placing the order nearly 2 weeks ago indicating they were altering the design. In the end, I complained to the customer service desk and they gave me the cake for free. This really isn't a consolation for the child-like cake, though, and I was embarrassed to show up with this.Buyer beware.... dont assume the bakery will produce the cake you're expecting!!!!Photo 1 is from the Kroger web site, photo 2 is what I received.

Clean. Well staffed. The Starbucks team is well trained and on top of everything. I'm impressed. Very professional team and happy to take a visit as I visited my best friend. Far more impressive than the Krogers in Central Ohio. Well done.

If I'm honest, I used to refer to this Kroger as "the janky Loveland Kroger." I first visited many years back, and with the dated and unwelcome look and the fact that everything is in different places from other Kroger's around the area, I opted for grocery shopping elsewhere. However, I have been stopping by more recently, and I have been pleasantly surprised at the quality of produce and some other products I've been able to find there. They are currently moving some things around inside, so hopefully they'll eventually give the outside a facelift to make it more welcoming. This might actually become my new go-to!

It has been several years since ive been inside this location, however I recently decided to give them a try for clicklist, as I was going to be in the area. I have had such a horrible time with this service at every single other Kroger I have tried. Unfortunately other drive up competitors don't necessarily have certain items or produce that is as fresh. So I hesitantly decided to try again. From start to finish this was THE ONLY time I have used Clicklist with no issues! I placed my order and was able to schedule a pickup time that was not that far in the future. I arrived and was the only person there for pickup. A super friendly employee came right out. I was shocked to find that they had everything I requested! Not even any substitutes were needed! She actually nicely placed my bags in the bins in my trunk too! Perhaps this location is smaller and might not have the full selection of one of the Kroger Marketplaces, but they have had everything I need!

Oh boy oh boy. Lets say this. I do my shopping here. Kroger is great! Workers though. Front End... Dreadful. Suit wearing Larry and the William Brothers, are great! But everyone else, is just awful, they act like they know nothing about where anything is. Night crew people are extremely rude except Thomas and Tim (he is addicted to talking) The younger knight crew guy was around with his pants shopping extremely slow and he blows vape smoke all over the foods. Alex the bagger is sweet, he loves talking about his dog. What I'm about to say here is for Kroger as a whole. Thanks for adding vegan options! It's awesome! What I'm about to say here is for this Kroger only. Keep our vegan stuff in stock! It's always out! Its never in stock, and this isn't even just during the pandemic, it's always been like this! And their produce, though its decorated nicely, their cucumbers are always super soggy feeling. I only shop here because its 5 minutes away, trust me. Shop Branch Hill.

Way is Kroger making their employees wear masks when they're not even properly trained on how to wear them most of them have them ready draped around her ears and tucked under the chin just to be in compliance with company policy. Seems like a big waste.

I've been shopping at the Kroger on Loveland Madiera Rd. for several years now, and always use a debit card to save on check-writing. This morning, I had the unfortunate experience of having my debit card stolen, and I had to have my financial institution block the card. I knew that I would not be able to use my card when shopping at Kroger, so I asked the CSR at the store if I could write a check, and I was told that would be fine. I then proceeded to do my shopping, and 45 to 50 minutes later, I reached the check-out line. When it came time to write out the check for an amount of $187, I found out the Kroger uses a program called Certegy Check, and Certegy rejected my check. I do not have any history of overdrafts on my checking account, and I've never bounced a check. The store told me I would have to call Certegy to get "things cleared up". When I called and spoke with Certegy, they told me that probably the reason the check was rejected was because I had not yet written a check at Kroger - it was my first check to them, therefore, it was not surprising that my check was rejected. I was also told by the Certegy rep that there is no way to tell if my next check will be accepted or declined until I actually try to write one out again at Kroger. This is not good news for me, as I will not have my new debit card from my financial institution for at least two weeks. I must say that after wasting an entire hour of my time shopping, bagging, and then on the phone with Certegy, that I am very disappointed in the Loveland Kroger, and I will have to consider whether or not I ever want to shop there again. This form of check clearing is very impersonal, and is NOT excellent customer service, especially for someone who has shopped there numerous times as a loyal customer for several years. Even knowing that my debit card was stolen and that was the reason I needed to write out a check "for the first time" (it was check #1058, and I've had the account for 5 years with no overdrafts), it surprised me that the CSR at Kroger couldn't even get a manager to come override the Certegy outcome. Even the rep at Certegy told me that she couldn't override the outcome. Kroger truly needs to personalize its customer approach and reconsider the methods it is using to decide who can and who cannot write checks. What do I do for food between now and when my new card arrives in the mail from the bank? If I had a history of bouncing checks, especially at Kroger, then I could understand why they rejected my check. Who is the manager at this store, and what has Kroger taught its managers about personalized customer service?
