Dog training done right. Mary Jo has been training dogs for decades and is absolutely the best. So many good boys and girls have come from here.

I really love this place. I’ve been going to Mary Jo , k9 training & also Joyce, and Barb are phenomenal people and dog trainers. They even will teach people how they should be training their dogs. It’s too bad. Some people cannot understand how to do that and complain just because of their lack of ability to do so. I would recommend this place to everyone most definitely they all are helping me so much with my dog Because you can tell that they care about what happens to the animal and want the owners to make sure that they’re going to be a good owner for that animal so they go above and beyond.

William, it is a shame you didn’t stay in the course after things calmed down. Ours is the dog yours went after for reasons known only to your dog. There is so much Mary Jo, Joyce & Barb have taught us about the value of proper training, and that there is no hopeless case. We keep coming back for the education and the privilege to be taught by caring and award-winning professionals in hopes we will one day emulate a fraction of their level of love, discipline and dedication.

Very impressed with the trainers here! The focus is on developing the right skills and consistent behaviors to protect people AND our dogs. And, even better, learning how to build a relationship with your dog that doesn’t involve handing out treats! They respect the intelligence of our dogs and expect intelligent dog owners in class.

Took my dog to training not knowing what to expect. Turns out it’s our favorite hour of the week!! MaryJo and Joyce are fun and knowledgeable. Hoping to go into their agility class in the fall. Definitely recommend!

It's a must for every dog owner if you care about your pet and your family. Not only do they teach your dog how to behave but also you the owner how to train your dog. Thank you for everything you guys did for me and my rottweiler

If I could give zero stars I would. They care more about making dogs scared so they listen than proper training. My dog was scared and stressed out so he let out one tiny growl and they shot lemon juice down his throat without any acknowledgement or communication with me. He went to doggy daycare weekly so he is not an aggressive dog. They never tried to make it a personal experience by focusing on the different needs of different dogs and referred to you as "the -insert breed-" , never learning your name or your dogs name. Only good thing that came out of it was the prong collar because my dog stops pulling on the leash with it one.

Mary Jo loves her dogs and yours, too. I am on training my 4th dog with her. She is strict and that is what my dogs need. I felt confident taking them into any situation after training them with Mary Jo.

I Absolutely recommend this training school! Thanks to obedience training with Mary Jo my Vegas got CGC TKN titles and also 1 leg in Obedience Novice trail, now we are on the way to completing the intermediate level at this school and getting the BN title in Obedience! Even if you are not interested in showing your dog it’s great place for obedience base! Look at my happy dog face! We enjoy learning!

THEY WILL HIT YOUR DOG!!! A trainer by the name of Joyce hit my 2 year old Labrador Daphne on the head and caused her to fall back and whimper. We were half way through our first class and Daphne was very overwhelmed by the experience and she started to jump up on me. I was attempting to stop Daphne from jumping by telling her down and bad jump, Joyce the trainer, walked over and said nothing to me or Daphne, she did not try to instruct me on how to fix the behavior, she just hit Daphne on the head and walked away. After class I reached out to express my concerns and nobody ever apologized or gave me any explanation of why the trainer thought that behavior was acceptable. If you want your dog trained in a healthy and happy environment I would pick absolutely anywhere else!!! Please enjoy this picture of my happy girl who is very sweet and does not deserve corporal punishment!

DO NOT COME HERE! The trainers use extreme physical discipline on the dogs. Joyce hit my 75 lb family dog to the point she fell backwards whimpering. The actions observed and the way I was spoken too and treated was incredibly unprofessional, inappropriate, and overall disrespectful. I would give this poorly run establishment less stars if possible. Very disappointed.

Would not recommend this facility to my worst enemy. They instill fear into the dogs and owners. Very outdated way of training dogs. Currently working with an in home dog trainer to undo everything this facility did. And we are having an amazing outcome even after this facility told us our dog was going to end up in the shelter (very unprofessional). I could go into details of them calling our dog a “terrorist”, rolling eyes at my husband and the down right traumatizing training experience this place is but I would rather keep it short and sweet and say don’t make the same mistake we did and go somewhere else!Ps I’m sure (like every other bad review) they will claim we didn’t attend a session here since this post is under my maiden name. Just another way to tell they are an immature company.

Maryjo and her staff do an excellent job teaching people how to train their dogs. They try to keep it interesting and fun. I would definitely recommend this establishment for your training needs.
