I would leave zero or negative stars if I could. My husband and I have rented from these guys twice recently and have been overcharged by over a hundred dollars each time. Dishonest workers, and poor customer service. All I can say is buyer beware. If you choose to rent from these guys, please double-check all of your paperwork.

There is no availability for the truck that I ordered. They called me a day before my reservation, even though I made it a week prior to being notified. The guy wanted me to drive 45 minutes south to get my reservation. I hated every moment dealing with the guy behind the counter, zero help, just slow and absent minded.

BE CAREFUL BEFORE YOU SIGN YOUR CONTRACT!! The lady at the front desk lied to my face when I asked why the price was so much higher than what was originally expected online. I basically got scammed out of $300 because she lied and told me the price difference was only a security deposit and that I’d get that back on my card once I successfully return the vehicle. Turns out, she added me onto the liability insurances even though I’ve explicitly told her I DID NOT WANT THE INSURANCE! To make matters worse, they only had the 16 foot box truck which was way too large to drive half way across the country with, even though I reserved the 12 foot box truck online. Save yourselves from this scam and rent from elsewhere.

Go elsewhere!! My rental agreement was not properly extended. I return the vehicle after 1 month. They charged me 600.00 late fee and a 400.00 recovery fee, asset recovery contacted me with a text AFTER the vehicle was returned. Then refuse to correct their error, thanks a lot Chuck, so you have to call customer service. Then starts the process of correcting those charges with the bank because customer service is useless unless you can get a supervisor. I never could get one.Wake up 3 months after this nightmare to another mysterious charge on my credit card from Loveland Budget. Seriously shameful. Just go down the street to the Kemper road location, save yourself some money and time.All this after my initial rental had a flat tire and no spate. The solution from loveland budget, put air in it and drive it back to be swapped.

Avoid at all costs! We made a reservation over a week in advance for a 16’ truck, so we would have a truck for rent to move out of our apartment before our lease is up. We received a call from Chuck saying they had no truck for us, and there would be no truck for at least another 2 days (obviously, since we our lease was up, waiting was not an option, but Chuck did not care). Chuck was unapologetic and had no interest in helping us. Seriously, do yourself a favor and go through someone else or a different Budget location.

Do not rent from them! Ruined my son's prom since they called me about a half hour before I went to get the car and they didn't have one and all other locations were already closed. Should of called first thing in the morning so I could of got one from another location. I give them a zero on their business

I reserved a van for pick-up at 5:30pm yesterday, arrived at the location at 5:32pm and it was closed. The business next door informed me the employee left at 5pm even though they close at 6pm. I contacted customer service, they said inventory would call me within 2 hours, no call.Today I have called this pick-up location 10 times and they do not answer even though they open at 8 am. Again I contacted customer service and was told inventory would contact me within 2 hours. This service is completely unacceptable. I needed that truck on Tuesday and still have no solution. Do Better!!

I wouldn’t recommend using this Budget/Avis location to anyone. I should have learned my lesson the first time, but I wanted to give the local spot the benefit of the doubt. The customer service is beyond terrible and the office is disgusting. They over charge, and then make you jump through hoops to get your money back. Ken Stewart, the owner-operator of this location, doesn’t listen to the customers and when questioned on payment issues becomes aggressive, rude and disrespectful. His stance is “its not my problem.”. Well, Mr. Stewart, when you are the owner-operator of a business that deals with the public, customer service issues are indeed “your problem.” I am still out $250+ from an over charge.

I reserved through a neighborhood location (Loveland, OH) when I arrived I was told they did not have any cars in my reserved car class or any others for that matter. They indicated they might have some by 10am-12pm the following day, which was too late for me. They advised I should go to our airport location (CVG) which was about a 30 minute drive... I did ask why I wasn't advised they would not have any cars and why their system would accept my reservation stating cars where available, and was not provided any straight answer.When I arrived initially at the CVG airport location, the CS rep said they didn't have the car class I had reserved and then ended up giving me a 5 year old car with brake issues and windshield wipers that did not work properly. Needless to say driving in all day storms and rain with these was ridiculous. I called the 800 number customer service multiple times and they were of ZERO help, I even tried to get switched to a different car and they offered zero help or support.

I have used this budget location twice. Once, to return a one-way rental that I had for less than 18 hours, and once for a weekend rental. Both times this Budget location has tried to over-charge me. On the one-way rental, I returned the car in August 2022 and received a letter in the mail in February 2023-- 6 MONTHS after I returned the car. The letter stated that there was a dent that needed repaired and I needed to pay for it. When I called corporate customer service, they said this location had paid for a key fob repair (not a dent) on this rental in October 2022 and that was what I was being charged for. I find this timeline highly unusual and I'm very skeptical about how they determined who to charge for this repair (are they charging everyone who used this particular car in the last six months and hoping for multiple payments??). The second time I used this location, I returned the car about 15 minutes before closing on the contractual return date, but I decided to drop the key in the key box because I saw a line of customers at the counter, and I figured there would be no issue. Later, I was charged a late return fee and charged for another day's rental. When I called this location to ask about the charges, I was told they do not check the key drop until the next morning (seems like a convenient strategy to charge late fees; and makes the dropbox effectively useless to customers), so there was nothing they could do about the charges. Luckily, again corporate customer service fixed the issue for me. I would give 1-star for this particular location given that I feel like they are trying to nickel and dime customers, and hoping they just pay the fees without contacting customer service. I am assigning 3-stars mainly because Budget has been very helpful in assisting me both times. I assume it is only a matter of time until Budget/Avis may decide to part ways with this particular franchisor, and I'm sure they have data on the number of customer questions coming from this location. I have traveled extensively due to my job and needed many rental cars. I have never experienced any problems in the last 10 years, except renting from this location. Next time I travel to this area, I will most definitely not rent from here.

I had a business trip with a group of people and we rented a passenger van to be Picked up at this location WEEKS in advance. they waited until 2 hours before pick up time to notify me that they had no Passenger Vans. not only that, they had NO solution for me. They're only solution was for me to call customer service. Called customer service and they had NO passenger vans in the area and their ONLY "Solution" was to refund my money. Nothing, I repeat, NOTHING here is acceptable! I am now having to transport people in personal vehicles because not only did they take my money, but they flat out lied about a service they can't provide! false advertising, and they waited til the last minute to notify me when they knew about this weeks in advance! If this can happen to us, it can happen to you. no matter how far out you reserve, there is NO Guarantee that a vehicle of your choosing will be there. Stay away from them, Stay away from Budget!

I always have a great experience here. We found ourselves in a 1-car household situation this summer and this location has always had cars for us when we needed another vehicle (this is our 4th time this summer renting.) Service is great and friendly. He always goes above and beyond to ensure our family is taken care of well. Highly recommend!

Paid for a rental 6 months in advance went to pick up vehicle they didn't have any. No phone call nothing telling me they weren't going to have the vehicle. Told me I would need to call customer service to find one. Then told me i had 3 people in front of me for that vehicle as well, yet I paid for mine 6 months ago. Nope never again
