I don’t ever post reviews, however ever since we have moved here we have only ever received one of our packages. All of our other packages we have to go pick up. Ever since the mail lady saw that we have dogs she uses that as an excuse to not deliver our packages. Our dogs are not outside many times when she comes and she still will mark couldn’t deliver because of dogs. She is blatantly lying. After we talked to the manager she started not delivering them and putting “obstruction in driveway” which also wasn’t a thing. We have talked to the manager several times and nothing is changing. I am pregnant and can’t be running to the post office to get these packages all the time, especially in the cold, that is why I’ve ordered them. I think they need to hire somebody who can actually deliver packages and isn’t too lazy. Not to mention the mail lady is rude. I have seen her a couple of times and smiled and waved and she has only left me with glares. Our driveway has two turn around, and the dogs are always put in if we are expecting a package that day. Being lazy not wanting to deliver packages okay whatever but blatantly lying every time is so ridiculous and no one will do anything about it!

I am amazed at the services I received. I have lived in Louisville most of my life, yesterday I woke up with my mailbox down along with 3 others. I was not here to sign for a package, so I had to go to the post office anyways. While there I was treated so respectfully, the man got the Postmaster to help me. He was so nice and helpful with my "missing package" but I am not too worried about it because they always treated us amazingly, even when we had to evict a mouse in our mailbox! Today, I got a message from Amazon USPS stating they were unable to deliver a package due to not being able to get to the mailbox. This package was a TWIN MATTRESS. Unfortunately, the only number on google was a 1800 number. I called and spoke with customer service and they said they would put in a ticket stating to drop it off even if the mailbox is down. Do you know what happened? The Postmaster I spoke with the day prior called me and explained why the package was not delivered because it is how things are coded (which is important this is the USPS and they should follow protocol.) He found out what the package was and asked if he could drop it off so my daughter could have her mattress tonight! I can't even explain how happy I am with this post office, I can not thank him enough! You made my daughter's night with her new mattress! Because of you, she is now in her BIG girl bed tonight! I don't think our mail person is good with numbers, or with the English language. We receive other people's mail weekly. Not just the wrong street address, but the wrong street or city altogether. Whenever I have the option of how I want something shipped to me, USPS is always my dead last option.

Was told that I was not allowed to mail my package because it contained a battery and it was not marked on the outside of the box, despite having done so several times in the past and despite the official USPS about website stating "Mailpieces are not required to bear markings or labels identifying the contents as lithium batteries. Mailers may optionally use a DOT-approved lithium battery handling label, in domestic air or surface transportation". Woman I worked would not allow me to speak with anyone else, and said I had to come back when the postmaster was here in a couple of hours

I understand that things are hectic and out of sorts during this time but the unprofessionalism is ridiculous at the Lousiville, OH post. Some of the employees are so rude and actually verbally attack you for even dropping things off. I have never been difficult or even mean in the slightest when dealing with the USPS workers here. I will say that Jeff the Postmaster is great to work with.

I wouldn't even give this a 1 star. I only did bc it wouldn't let me post without. My mail carrier, since we have moved in, NEVER gets out of his car for the packages. He just shoves them in the mail box, so most of my stuff ends up ruined.

Despite all the negative reviews, I’ve not had a problem at the post office nor with our mail being delivered! I’ve only met two mail delivery ladies and they are both very kind and helpful.When trying to deliver a priority package (a total foreign situation for me) the attendant at the desk inside the post office helped me out greatly every step of the way.The only reason I’d take away one star is that sometimes my packages aren’t scanned right away and they don’t get delivered as timely as I’d like.

I have to say that the woman that covers for our regular mail man is awful. First off she drives about 50 mph between each stop and she also got so close to our box she ripped it off the pull, never said a thing and i have personally seen her do it to the neighbors box. And last but not least she left 2 black skid marks on our driveway about foot long. Witnessed by my husband. Next the law will get involved. We tried to report it to the post office but was unable to speak with no one at the Louisville post office.

Do not seem to be organized. Many times I've seen someone deliver our mail and then come by a few hours later with more mail. They mailed a postcard asking for food donations to be left at mailbox on May 12, so we did. The next day, donation is still sitting there...all wet. Now I'm left with food I can no longer donate!
