I purchased a GMC 3500 Sierra Ultimate from Coughlin. Before I left I discuss my plates and registering them to the new vehicle. The sales associate took them off my old truck and added that the dealership would transfer them for me and that I was good to go. Fast forward months later and I get a ticket for fictious plates because they trace back to my old truck. I called and spoke with Lisa that handles the title and she said that they are aware that their sales associates tell people this but that this is not something they do. She informed me that I need to take my title and go to my local BMV and transfer the plates. When I questioned why they do not stand by what their employees tell people she agreed to transfer me to a manager. The call disconnected once and she called back and it disconnected again. I have yet to hear back but it sounds like they are ok with their employees telling customers something that is not true and it is up to suffer the consequences like getting tickets and possibly getting their vehicle impounded and towed.

Dan the sales guy and Todd the sales manager went above and beyond. Great buying experience!!! I live 2 hrs from the dealership, We worked out the deal over the phone and they did a home delivery for me. If you are in the market for a GMC stop in and see these 2 guys.

We were traveling through Ohio to Texas and my engine light came on. OnStar indicated that I needed to find a dealership as soon as possible and directed me to Coughlin Automotive Group in London, Ohio. I'm glad they did, as Caleb in service was able to check out my vehicle, determined that it was a sensor glitch, reset our computer and had us on our way in a very short amount of time. Of all of the service centers and dealerships I have been to in my 40+ years of owning GM vehicles, I have never experienced the level of professionalism, curtesy and genuine interest in wanting to help a customer, as Caleb showed us.
Thank you Caleb!

I was driving home to Indiana from Columbus and had mysterious tire issues. I stopped twice to add air, then at Walmart for a tire gauge. I pulled into this dealership and Caleb saved me! Despite having no internet due to a wide-spread outage, my problem was diagnosed, corrected, and I was on my way in 90 minutes, secure in the knowledge that I could safely complete my journey. All for less money than a cheap dinner!

I bought a used Chevy For a little over $10,000 at this dealership and it has been an absolute nightmare. They sell junk used cars. The transmission went out on it two weeks after I bought it, but luckily my extended warranty covered it. When my engine went out on it, nine months later, my warranty did not cover. I'd read reviews of other people having similar experiences, but thought it would not happen to me, but it sure did! Read all the reviews with similar stories! Drew, the salesman. makes lots of promises about how they'll take care of their customers and they want their customers to be happy, but the sales department still wants to charge full price for all repairs. And then Drew won't return the calls... He sure was friendly, though, when he was selling me the car! I went to this dealership specifically because it was a GM dealership. I definitely put my trust in the wrong place. Don't make the same mistake I did!

Horrific business practices. Verbal and written agreement to purchase a horse trailer. Sold to a different buyer while I was transferring money. If you read through the other reviews, they are habitual at doing this. Not only is this terrible business, but it is in violation of Ohio law. In a world where options are endless with the internet. Please take your business elsewhere to a company that stands behind their word and purchase agreements. It’s no wonder Shadow trailers has ceased doing business with them.

Had a written purchase agreement with them. Notified them that I transferred money and would be making the payment within 24 hours. Called in to pay and was told the trailer "sold last night". Gave them the opportunity to cancel that sale to not violate Ohio Revised code for dealerships and they declined. Take your business elsewhere please. Especially if you're a woman, there is zero respect or commitment to the consumer.

Tony the sales manager is the absolute worst. My dad put $1000 deposit down to hold the truck in his name because he could not get there that same day. Tony called him up later that day and sold the truck to someone that offered more. DO NOT BUY FROM THESE CLOWNS!!!

Overall bad experience dealing with this dealership. Jim gives the run around and doesn't want to assist with any repairs on their $36k truck. Not to mention the check engine light came on a day after having it causing us to pay out of pocket. The cue screen didn't work so you can't adjust the anything on the lower end of the screen. Or change any hvac controls. Which we had to also fix. I would say do some research on the vehicles before they send you home on a "home delivery" without full approved financing. It may save a lot of headaches. A complaint will be filed with the BBB also assuming they have recorded lines of him stating as soon as we get approval we will take care of the driver side running board motor that failed to work. So essentially I would have paid another dealer 4000 in repairs if not more.Jim also said he was apart of the circleville Coughlin which we just learned today is not the case misleading information from the jump. Key fob was to a different vehicle so we have a useless key fob. Awful service from everyone at this point.

I have very rarely written a review and have never written a bad one. I would like to give Coughlin a zero but I had to give them one star to be able to post. Coughlin Automotive knowingly sold my son an unsafe F-350 pickup. When he returned to them asking only for the cost to make the vehicle safe to drive the GM refused to make it right. My son arrived at at the dealership with documentation from two different service centers that the truck was unsafe drive and that any mechanic should have seen it while putting on the new tires at the dealership before the vehicle was sold. The second service center would not release the vehicle and gave him a ride home. What I would like to know is, what the GM would think if someone purposely put his kid's life in danger only so that person could make a profit. I would highly recommend NO ONE would ever consider buying from them, as they do not stand by their product or care about their customers even to put a young man's life at risk.

Found the vehicle we'd been looking for on marketplace but it was this dealer three hours away from us. From first email to driving away, it was a seamless process to buy a used car from Coughlin. Jerry was just wonderful and so was Kelli. Excellent communication! They gave us a fair trade in value too!
