my wife was given a new Verizon Samsung phone, I was able to switch SIM cards no problem, then had some difficulty switching over photos, contact numbers, and apps from her old phone, I drove to Lima Verizon because it is supposed to be a company owned store, we were charged $30 to do the smart switch, it was explained to me that the charge was new policy, 17 years a customer , doesn't sit real well with me, I encourage everyone to shop for a better customer experience,I will say that the young man who waited on me was very courteous, it was explained as company policy

Stop the same terrible service, just walking in they were rude. We left without going any further. Same review about the same awful services as the reviews 2 years ago. I believe the owner doesn’t actually care since it’s a corporate store

If I could leave a zero star review for this store I would! Went in a couple months ago to look a new phone and I was told if I added another line it would bring my bill down. So I went back a couple weeks later and did that and made a few other changes to the plan that the female worker all said would lower bill and make the plan better. I know the first bill after that would be higher with the taxes and charges for the stuff that was done. But now I got the second bill and it's 50 bucks higher than my old plan and now we don't have mobile hot spot which we had before which we now have to subscribe too and they so conveniently forgot to mention that part of the new plan. Went in there and she acts like she never told us that it would be lower and that she told us it would be higher. All this after we waited around for an hour before we got helped while half the employees were just standing around twidling there thumbs. This Verizon store has terrible customer service, wait times, and the employees take no accountability for anything nor do they give any indication that they even remotely care about you!

Terrible can't get past the Verizon assistant in order to get to talk to someone. When I get to second option it won't accept option 1 no matter when I select it and then shuts down.

I hate going into Verizon stores and this one is THE WORST OF THEM ALL!!!! When you walk in there's 45 employees standing around so you think “oh good, I’ll be helped quickly” until you realize they just look at you and keep talking amongst themselves. When you finally get someone to come talk to you it’s clear the whole time they are giving you reasons as to why they can’t help you and send you on your way. Seriously do yourself a favor and find a different store!

Wow what a example of poor and rude Verizon customer service at the Local Lima store on Elida road.Visited the above store with a positive inner feeling that they would resolve my issue . How wrong i was .The clerk being a man that greeted me was handling my problem was in a discussion with me concerning my issue of Verizon not accepting my written correspondence to cancel a line that i was being charge for that had not been used for 2 months. I was told that my letter to them along with a payment was shreddedIn place of applying to my account . This wasMy second notice to Verizon to cancel the non used line as they also failed to honor by first written request to void the line . Of course they were charging me for a line not used my me for 2 months .During the communication with the male clerk another overweight male and rude clerk pushed into the conversation and stated this is going no where and proceeded to grab the first clerk’s device and pushed it shut then flipping it over onto the counter. Needless to say this was quite shocking and very very rude. This rude action plus them shredding my letter and payment check became very negative for me . I asked for the consumer affairs phone number as i seen that this store or employees were of no help .Want to mention i have been a Verizon customer well over 25 year. If this is the value they have for their long term customers then maybe i should look elsewhere.As for the rudeness of the clerk i would suggest that he be retrained or kept in the back room away from customers.He may want to consider a different position away from customers.As for the one star i gave it is one too many to show my frustration with the employee and visit to the store .Hope this helps to adjust your customer service .I will try the consumer affairs by phone but if it is the same result i will cease my loyalty to Verizon .Edit update 3/7/23Well i just hung up speaking with Verizon rep .I am now with a new carrier after about 30 years with Verizon. The treatment i received from my new carrier store was differently like night vs day .All i can say is i hope I never in my remaining life plan to ever step into the Verizon store on Elida road Lima ohio again .Wake up Verizon.You actually saved me a large amount of monthly money by me switching to a new carrier .I tried to file a complaint with Verizon consumer affairs however found it to be waste of time and words .A few years ago i had the same treatment at the now closed Verizon store on east side of Lima however i left it go as thought one time issue but two times is a Verizon issue . That store is now closed as i can see why.If i ever have a need to visit the store again on Elida road i will travel to another town as needed .Advice to Verizon train your employees to value customers or dismiss them or change duties to back storage room.Thank you and good bye

Went in and asked about replacing a phone under insurance. The associate told me that I had to contact the insurance company first so I went home and did. The insurance agent told me I was eligible for an in store replacement at my local store. When I went back I was told by the least helpful associate that I'd have to go through Samsung. Verizon did nothing to solve my problem. I ended up having to pay the insurance company a $299 deductible.

Nothing like lack of care for someones property on your part and having wait for another phone when it had nothing to do with my care of my NEW phone that I paid in full on my part. I'd give this place a lower star than a 1/5 but I had to round up on Yelp.

Absolutely no customer service all they care about is selling you stuff. You try to do anything and it’s call this number go to this site. We aren’t allowed to do that stuff anymore. There’s no point in having a store anymore. What’s the point in having a store if you can’t do anything. Went in there today to see about the using the insurance on my wife’s phone got the same old same old. We don’t do that it’s through another company you have to go through them. While talking to one employee another stepped in and was rather rude and started saying they can’t do anything. Tried using car insurance as an example of not going to the car dealer to handle insurance. Well honey they are two separate things. I by my car insurance through an insurance agent at a local broker that deals with multiple different companies. Guess what if I went in with an issue they would figure it out and help me get it through. Verizon is the same thing for what ever company it is they sell. Moral of the rant is don’t do business with Verizon they don’t care about customer service or actually helping people with there issues. Get ride of the stores and charge us less on the bills.

Customer Service Rep 'Sonya' was extremely rude me. I walked in with a broken phone seeking what my options were. Sonya immediately took a very rude tone with me. Sonya did not even take my information or have a look at my account before sending me on my way. I understand the insurance claims may not be able to be completed at the store, but that's no excuse for Sonya to be so rude and dismissive to an account holder that's been with Verizon for many years.

I bought a smart phone that flips in half called a Samsung Galaxy Z Flip4 and within a few weeks a gray line started to appear across it. Then a couple days later the screen turned black. I called Verizon and they said to take it back to the store, no problem. The manager here took my phone and accused me of ABUSING it. He dug his fingernails around it and said “I can feel the scratches, you’ve abused this phone!” I NEVER abused my phone. I am very careful with it. He refused to take it back and said I couldn’t abuse things and bring them back. This never happened. The phone is defective and it was within the 30 day return policy. What would I have to gain by abusing my phone? All I wanted was a replacement, even a refurbished one but he refused. My husband was very upset since the phone cost a lot of money and we had been faithful costumers for a long time. We went to another store and the manager there informed us this manger called the district and told them not to take it back from us. We had no other choice but to switch phone companies and we are now out $1000. This is very upsetting.
