I was talked down to and not listened to. I made an appointment for an alignment. My steering wheel is off and the car pulls to the right. But, supposedly, that's not what I came in for. The car shakes and I explained that when I set up the appointment as well. Supposedly, someone test drove my car and didn't notice the pull? Instead, they said it was transmission and did a tire balance, without letting me know first. When I tried again to explain that the problem is in the steering, and I didn't ask for the balance, I was supposed to act like I was happy they didn't charge for the diagnostic. Problem is still there, making the tires bad. They said they couldn't fix my car, I'd have to make an appointment with another dealership. I'm a bit of a distance from this place and wasted time and money to be told there's possibly transmission issue. I believe at this point, if you're a woman, they don't think you know anything. Apparently it isn't women that are the issue. At least I knew what the problem was with my car, and I went there in hopes of it being fixed. This is my second review on how horrible of an experience I've had with 2 men being this way. I'm pretty calm until they talk down to me. This guy said pretty loudly that he can charge me for the diagnostic since I wasn't...I walked away before hearing the rest. Since this is the second time dealing with men like this, I hope not to have to deal with them any further. When it's time to get a new vehicle, which may be long before I pay off this car I got in February with the issues it has already, I will not go to this place.

unfortunately i have not gotten the great experience and service as some of the others on here got to experience. I had a baby and needed to upgrade my car to a 3 row suv to accommodate my growing and busy family and it has been nothing but a nightmare since the 5th day i took it off the lot. I purchased a used 2017 Dodge Journey- since may 8th the caralytic converter has been replaced 3 times ( they blame Michael tires for putting the wrong size and brand on all three times) torque converter once, brakes on the back rear, air conditioner was on the fritz, another sensor in the brakes & cam phaser senser….etc… the vehicle has not driven right since the check engine light came on on the 8th of may and whenever i tried to explain this to Mindy, Tom Or vince they disregarded what i said or told me there was nothing wrong with the way it ran. Have almost broke down on the side of the road multiple times but let Mindy Ahl tell it she would put her Grandma in this car and this car is a great beautful running car! Tom made multiple promises to put me in something new but went back on his word the first time and now im waiting yet again to be put in something new because they want me to wait until they close out there claim under my warranty to fix the current issues. Ive been treated very poorly since day one, laughed at by Mindy when she asked me what have i paid for in this entire process and when i said nothing she laughs and says “my point exactly” but the point here is when you purchase a vehicle whether its used or brand new that it operates in a Reliable manner and that you are able to trust and rely on it to get you where you need to safely and without worry its going to have another issue come up. Ive been driving small rentals most of which were filthy when they gave them to me one had the check engine light on and was being sold on there lot for $14,000! yet a coworker got a brand new SUV to drive around while her vehicle was being worked on. I purchased a used suv in the past from tom ahls and never had issues or complaints. Unsure of what changed! extremely disappointing experience and extremely poor way to treat someone who just wanted to have a nice vehicle! and from where she thought was a christian driven person. Not to mention when I get to switch to new vehicle Im being told that i owe 35 cents a mile from my Journey, eating taxes N will possibly owe more money…I accepted the fact my prior vehicle i traded in had some negative equity that Ive accepted responsibility for to continue to cover but I would love for them to make things right and get me in a nice beautiful reliable vehicle that i deserve and work hard for!

My Chrysler Pacifica require the hood be repaired under warranty. I made an appointment, and brought it to the dealership, I was given a rental car to use while the car was in the shop. When I picked up my car following the repair, it was perfect. My car was washed and very clean. I am well satisfied .

We brought our car in on September 7th because of some noise it was making. The issue was quickly diagnosed but the part would need to be ordered. For over a week we were told they couldn't get the part. They could not give us any information except the part couldn't be found anywhere and there was no expectation on when they would get the part. On Monday, September 18th we found the part at an auto store. We called the svc dept to arrange to use the part we found and bought. On Wednesday, September 20th @5pm the part was dropped off. We received the call that the car was finally ready at 1pm Friday, September 22nd. As discussed, our bill was over $2100. When I asked if we could get any discount for the 2 week wait, need for us to continue checking in and the fact we had to locate, purchase and deliver the part to fix the car but were promptly told no. No discussion with a supervisor or apology....just no. The customer service department acted like we should be grateful for the opportunity to have our car worked on instead of the other way around. There were no apologies for the delay or thank you for our business!! Yes, our car eventually got fixed but the attitude and customer service was greatly lacking. We have used Tom Ahl before but this time I am extremely disappointed. When someone spends this amount of money you expect some courtesy and appreciation! We have been given no good reason to bring our vehicles back to Tom Ahl Service Center since they seem not to care about our business.

See updated response belowPlease be very cautious about buying a used vehicle from Tom Ahl. They have a warranty but have yet to honor that warranty. I will follow up with the result of what they do to make things right. My brother traded in his running, great condition Jeep for a mustang that he always wanted. The mustang RIGHT AFTER leaving the dealership had a check engine light come on and my brother was just told to bring it on Monday because no one was there to service it. HE WAS TOLD TO CONTINUE DRIVING THIS VEHICLE TILL MONDAY. Shortly after he decided to scan the car, thinking it was just an O2 sensor or something small and he got 9 error codes. Misfire detected on start up, random misfires, and 2, 4, and 8 cylinders misfiring. Seems to be the right side of the engine….. After this he was driving down the street and metal flew everywhere and my brother reported (who is a veteran) that is sounded like a grenade went off and he thought he blew up. The car started smoking and shrapnel flew everywhere. We are very lucky he was okay and no one was behind him because there is even metal inside the bumper. The whole care is ruined. We found out after this all happened that the transmission was just replaced. Brandon had fears the clutch was okay and they gave reassurance everything was fine with the car. Tom Ahl and Mandy (daughter of Tom Ahl) told him this is his fault. They want his insurance to cover it, at least it was mentioned. They still have the car and at this time we do not know the outcome. We are praying they make this right and very grateful that no one was injured. There was also a Tom Ahl Dealership warranty that they say is for 2 months but at this time they aren’t honoring that either. Yet they have a running, like new Jeep and he has nothing. This all happened within 3.5 hours of owning the car. Very disappointed my brother try to support a local dealership and this has been the result so far. Our families for years have supported this dealership and purchased many vehicles so this has been pretty disappointing to say the least.Update: Tom Ahl Family of Dealerships I’m not in town. I work away from home and I know the full story.I understand you want to blame this on him but you’re not correct. What you feel has happened is not fact. You sold an unsafe vehicle and it showed signs of right sided engine issues prior to blowing up. You have no remorse and laugh at the situation. It’s poor customer service.Also you neglected to tell him about the new transmission it already needed prior to purchasing the vehicle.Thanks for your response tho.

Excellent car buying experience at Tom Ahl! The best car buying experience I’ve ever had. Alec Brown was my salesperson. He did a great job! Very nice dealership! I was super impressed as was my boyfriend! Owner even came over introduced himself and shook my hand. I was buying a used car and noticed some imperfections in the paint. They took care of my issues right away. They did an excellent job! I will definitely refer this dealership for anyone looking for their next car purchase!.

Will not return. Had a service appointment at 9am which I had to make over a month ago. They did not even look at my vehicle until I called them at 1.30 to find out the status of it. I have an extended warranty and the company said the work should only take 2 hours and they said it would take 2.8 hours and that I was responsible for the .8 hours. I have been a fan of Tom Ahl since I moved here 25 years ago. I will not return to them for anything again.

Tom Ahl is the Best around. When Tom says he has a certain vehicle, you can believe that he has that vehicle on his lot. We have went to different car dealerships that have advertised the New Chevy Trax. When we drove an HR or so Only to find out they lied about it. There was not 1 Chevy Trax when they advertised 6 of them on the lot ??. We said Tom will have one before the Chevy dealership have one. No pressure at Tom's Friendly staff. Jeff Skelly is our go to man when we want to buy a car . The Best place to go....

Have had the truck here 3 times for the same issue/code. Just got it out the shop Wednesday, $2700 later & it's still messing up. They're just throwing parts at it at this point. Called to tell them about it and I didn't get an apology, we'll make it right or nothing. Trucks going back in on Monday. I'm sure they'll say it's something else and expect us to pay more $$$!! The parts they changed didn't fix it, so we need our old parts put back on, our $ back or the problem fixed!!!!!!

Came in the other day to look at a car and they denied me stating my pay stubs don’t show full time (they showed I worked 75 hours over 2 weeks) and then stated that I would need to put a whopping $10,000 down in order to get the car financed that I was looking at. The car I was looking at was priced at just under $16,000. I would’ve felt better if they had just let me know they didn’t want to bother with it.

Easily the most painless and pleasant car purchase I've ever made. Dale is awesome. It's nice to go to a dealership and feel like I'm in control of my shopping. There was no pressure to look at cars I wasn't interested in, and while they offered all the extras, they didn't push when I said no. Tom Ahl is a respectable man, not putting the "market adjustment" (greed fee) on any cars he sells. I cannot recommend this place enough

So far I've had good experiences with Tom Ahl. I bought my car here and I absolutely love it! The service center is great too! If I need anything I can call and make an appointment or take it right up there and they'll service it! However if you're going up to the speedy lane service center, be prepared to wait awhile. I waited about 2 hours for an oil change but I was also like 5th in line. The waiting room is nice though and everyone there is very helpful! I would definitely recommend purchasing a car from there! Dale Klemens was the gentleman that sold me my car and he was great! Super helpful and very upfront about everything!

Jerry at the body shop went above and beyond all expectations in handling the repair of my vehicle after an accident. He puts you, his customer, as his priority which exemplifies the Tom Ahl philosophy of doing business. Thanks for being good at what you do, Jerry! I would highly recommend the Tom Ahl body shop to anyone.
