It's a nice place to stop into if you need a few things spare the moment and you have no other choice otherwise a lot of the things that they offer can be found cheaper at a tractor supply or Walmart store I feel like people only come to Petco to spoil their pets things like cupcakes used to be something that they offer I don't know if they do but the prices are outrageous and most of the people aren't really that helpful if you ask me get better off saving your money like I said Walmart tractor supply running stores like that tend to be a little bit cheaper and have the same products if not more

My sister wanted a hamster so before we went we called to make sure they had hamsters and they said they did. So we got there and was looking at the pets then we got to the small animals where they would have the hamsters. We was looking in the habitats and we didn’t see nothing in their cage where they would have the hamsters at. On the outside of the cage it said “coming soon” with a picture of a hamster. They didn’t even look to see if they had hamsters they just assumed and we got there and their was none. It’s not that hard to look and see if you have a pet.

Workers were nice and seemed like they knew what they were talking about... downside sold us 2 containers of 90% dead worms but at a reduced rate, so kinda 50/50, I guess

This place is amazing and the manager is just absolutely incredible!! My daughter’s Guinea pig died that we purchased from here . Not their fault at all but they went above and beyond !!! They even allowed my daughter to pick out another one that day when they truly didn’t have to!!! We love this place !!! They care about their pets and their business!!❤️❤️they made a little girl so happy after her heart was broken ❤️❤️❤️

This place has some of thee most rudest employees. They don't help or at least everytime I've been in..which isn't many times..I had to find an employee and even when i did finally receive help it was as if they didn't want to ..that's fine. Hire better employees

If you take your dog to the groomer, know they will not take him on any anxiety medications. Would have been informative to know this before hand. The lady over the counter didn't say sorry for not informing, didn't apologize for a lack of communication. Just cut me off while explaining that myself and many others around the world have done, by giving a dog anxiety medication before being groomed to make their job easier. Was told they will not take him in case of an emergency. I understand the concern. But no sympathy for the fact we drove 30 minutes into town today, cancelled other events we had going on today. Waited months for this appointment. All other groomers around Lima are out months. This was an absolute disgrace to Petco. We won't be shopping here anymore.
Here's how you can improve in the future:
Inform your clients the do's and dont's before bringing your dog to your groomer.
Ask if they are on any medication currently or if they will be on any medication before the appointment before hand.
If a complication comes up the day of the appointment, show sympathy for the people who took time out of there day to bring you business. People do not have extra time to waste, this sets people back months.
Ask if they would like to reschedule at a later date.
None of these were done. Do better.
