I have been using this location for grooming for my dog since they opened. The prices are reasonable (much cheaper than the vet taking care of certain things) and the staff is usually friendly. My most recent trip wasn't great but let's just hope it was an off day. My dog didn't like the groomer on hand and the groomer didn't seem real patient with her. The place is usually pretty clean and they run good deals every now and then.

Brought my dog here for a bath and cut, got there and was not informed until after I signed the papers that the person who was taking care of her was not certified to cut. This meant I was paying $80 just for my dog to get a bath. Will not be returning due to the terrible lack of communication.

Cancelled my dog’s grooming appointment for this week (that they just confirmed yesterday) because apparently there is no staff? How are you just going to cancel all your grooming appointments that were already scheduled? A good business would uphold the appointments already made and if you really can’t justify having a staff don’t schedule new appointments. But you SHOULD have kept the ones you already confirmed since you confirmed my appointment yesterday and now suddenly “we have no groomers what’s so ever and you any schedule anything new”. See you’re still listing grooming as an offered service though on your website so you should have taken that off immediately since it’s false advertising. Extremely mad that I’m now wasting a pto day because I have to request off work months in advance.

my dog needed a hair cut and the lady didn’t know how his single bath took 2 hours more than likely won’t go again she jus set there and let my dog whine in the cage

They did NOT do all the services on my pet and charged me $100. When it was supposed to be $70.

The groomer was sweet and quick and done with a nail trim and buff in about 3 minutes. We got in the same day and she put some ball on his foot pad where she noticed a crack we hadn’t seen.

Absolutely the worse Petco we have ever been to. The GM is horribly rude, no empathy for small animals whatsoever, and has trained her employees to be just as rude. If you want to go to a decent place in Lima for Pets my personal opinion is to never go here. I've even had to have the DM contacted through Petco online. Going to do it again on Monday but I will NEVER shop here again. In my opinion, they should close this place down and turn it into a bolier room, away from the general public.All I did, each time I called, was to try to let them know that my husband would be in on Monday for a refund of defective products. I tried to tell them that over the phone, but each time I said anything, they started interrupting me and never let me finish. When I pointed that out to them, they got mad and hung up on me. That's what they do here. If they don't like your question, or don't agree with what you say, they hang up on you.Bad enough they sold up defective products for our hamsters, they follow that up with rude, inappropriate phone behavior.I am so done with this store location. This location is in Lima, Ohio, on Allentown Road.
