LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT THIS WORTHLESS STORE! A year ago, over 70 pieces of jewelry was stolen by a fed ex driver, I waited almost 5 months to get a ring… they “found” the stolen jewelry and my wedding set was returned… forward 4 months and my main stone fell out… they charged me $275 for the replacement ( I have a warranty and have had it cleaned every 4 months since buying it) when I asked how they could guarantee me my ring was not damaged when it was stolen, the worker I was dealing began to get hostile towards me told me I was lying, that the jewelry was in an “accident” and not stolen. Fast forward to my mothers ring, that was stolen the same time mine was, has lost a Diamond and three stones loose, when she goes to get hers fixed, they also charged her( she as well has a warranty) the worker Debbie confirms that they in fact were stolen and not in an accident! I will never do business with this company again!

They were absolutely amazing! Went to another jeweler and was told they could not make a custom ring and told me basically no one would so I should just get something from them. I had my finances grandmothers ring and diamonds I really wanted to use and was pretty upset when I was told I couldn’t use it! Went over to Kay’s to just see if maybe they could and they were amazing and made it beautifully! I can’t wait to see the final results! 100% recommend!

I come from Germany and only became aware of this jeweler through my fiancé, as he has been a customer there for a long time. First of all I have to say that I am absolutely shocked by the service orientation. Maybe also because I'm used to a thousand times better service in Germany. My fiancé and I were choosing an engagement ring for myself. We found one and it was then ordered in my size. Normally I assume that when the ring arrives at the store you will be contacted by phone so that you can pick it up. None. We waited and waited and nothing came. In the meantime I was visiting Ohio and still nothing came. Then sometime after more than a month my fiancé saw the email in the junk email folder that the ring was there. I wonder if, as a large company, it is so difficult to call customers directly as soon as the product is available. I've had the ring for a few months now and suddenly I noticed a change in the diamond. We went to Kay's at the Lima Mall and I showed off my ring. Two employees confirmed to us that the diamond probably had a break in it. They then kept my ring there and said it could be several months before I got it back. I just thought to myself: please? After a few days, however, my fiancé received an email that the ring was ready for pickup. I was super happy. He drove there today and lo and behold: the ring looks exactly the same as before. The fractures are still there. I was horrified. Unfortunately I'm not there but in Germany. I asked my fiancé what they had done, then the lady said she didn't know either and couldn't say anything about it. For me an absolute disgrace!! I buy expensive jewelry from a reputable jeweler and expect a certain level of service! Support for customers with problems! I have now contacted the website's customer service and am hoping for help. I wonder if this is the way Americans work. Just sad !! Especially since my fiancé even took out a lifetime guarantee. I won't buy there again!!!!

I got a new diamond cross for Christmas and I absolutely love it! My mom has worked there for over 21 years and has got all her jewelry there. They have always been like a family.

We have been doing buisness with kays for over 10 years and I've never had a problem. My husband bought me a beautiful ring for Christmas. He said to take it into kays and have it sized. The next day I take it in to get sized and the women instantly said it wasn't their ring. I gave her all the information and she still said it wasn't their ring they can't find anything in their system. 3 employees also said the same thing. My husband brought them the Receive and she said okay and then continued to size it.she made me feel like I was lying about where he got the ring from, I was pretty embarrassed. After I walked out of the store I thought to myself do I want to do business with a company that basically called me a liar. So I walked back in and returned the ring. I will no longer do business with kays, and will go somewhere else.

Jessica C. is the best jeweler/ assistant manager. I would recommend and go to her anytime I'm there. My husband and I have purchased many pieces of jewelry from her. She is always so kind and eager to help.

Staff was very friendly, helpful, and not pushey. I upgraded my wife's wedding ring with a new one. There was an issue with her original in the process. Jessica called me and apologized right away and took care of the issue immediately. This place definitely earned my future business.

Was looking at a citizen watch today. I own SEVERAL. Found one I liked and was 99% sure I was gonna get for Christmas to add to my collection , but when I asked to take a photo of it and the tag with the item number on it to read more about it on your online store , I was rudely told I was not Allowed to take a photo , it was against store policy, found our going to a new location after leaving displeased that is false , they do cut tags off which is of course expected with sale but I wasn't even allowed to take a photo to show my wife later and read about it ?I've spend a lot of money over 15 years with Kay's and never have I been treated this way like I was a criminal or not worth serving at your store.I will never return to this location ever !

Absolutely done with this store I had a horrific experience with sending my ring out not too long ago where I had to get corporate involved just to find my ring and have to take it to a new location to have the work done properly today I went in for a simple getting my ring cleaned and potentially sending out a necklace that had broke,I was not due for an inspection until March of 2024 which I confirmed with the Piqua store after I left this location because Kay's had my ring all the way up until September of this year and it was inspected when I picked it up 6 months from that would be March of 2024 but they went ahead and was doing an inspection anyways after telling me that I was out of date on my inspection which I tried to inform them was not correct and they claim that my ring had a chipped diamond and that I would have to pay out of pocket for it.Because they claimed I was outside of my warranty which again is false. Then she also left a note on my account saying that my ring was damagedI took all of my stuff and went down to the Piqua store directly after leaving and they inspected my ring under two microscopes one of which Zooms in as close as you could possibly get and had multiple store employees confirm my ring was not damaged in any way there was no chips no loose Stones no scratches nothing they even took me to the microscope and had me look at every single diamond..They went into my account and made sure to notate this under her note that I asked her not to leave because I was taking it down to the original store since she claimed that I was wrong which I wasn't..So not only did one of your employees lie and say my ring was damaged but then you got a second employee involved the old lady and she claimed my ring was also damaged it has been confirmed that my ring is not damaged and they attempted to get me to pay for a diamond for a ring that was not damaged and should have been under warranty even if it was..They also claim that my necklace needed to be replaced after I just got it because it's all stretched out which after inspection at the Piqua store is false as well because it's the type of necklace it is and it's supposed to look the way it does with the woven chain and the length that it has stretched since buying it was acceptable and expected because it was under 2 in after the Lima store tried to talk me into buying a new chain cleaning it wouldn't be covered under my warranty which the Piqua store confirmed even if the chain needed replaced it should be covered under warranty because that's what I paid for so that be a 2nd item they wanted money for fraudulently all of these things were confirmed by the Piqua store by multiple different employeesPiqua store will definitely be helping me get corporate involved it's one thing to be extremely rude but to lie and try to steal money from your customers I'm sure they'll have a field day with that one
