I was born and raised in Lima, but currently live about 40 minutes away. My best friend was recently diagnosed with cancer and will be going through very aggressive chemo. She let me have the privilege of helping her find a nice, realistic wig and HRJ did not disappoint. I was able to get an appointment within a day and Jan was amazing!! She understood what my BF was looking for and offered wonderful suggestions. Unfortunately, my friend is on a tight deadline and needed to have the wig asap as her chemo will begin in just a few days. Jan was able to get the wig ordered and it will be here in 3 days! I could literally see the desperation and worry leave my friend when she realized that she would be able to have her wig just a few days after her chemo begins. Thank you so much HRJ, you made our day!!

Hi. I still think of this place & refer people that are losing their hair. (My Mom was diagnosed with ovarian & breast cancer in 2002). After bringing my Mom to HRJ & getting a wig after losing all her hair to chemo, we made the right choice. I only wish I could remember the names of the women that helped her, they were awesome & still smile when I think of the services she got. Mom was diagnosed & died within 9 mos., it was very tough times with her being so sick. The ladies told her what to use on her skin, because of the effects of chemo. The best part was how they matched the colors in the wig to her salt & pepper hair sample I had, the wig turned out to better than I hoped. It was so natural looking, my Mom was delighted with it. It was worth the money. You see, we went somewhere else 1st that offered a free wig...it was awful, my Mom tried to convince herself & me that it was ok. It truly looked fake, awful, not the right color, etc...I said no Mom, take it off, we are going somewhere to get you a nice wig. (She rarely treated or indulged in anything, but worked hard all her life). That is still today one of the best, loving decisions I'd ever made! Mom was very sick, very quickly, things went awful after her surgery. You have no idea how something such as this wig, may her last so many months, so much more bearable. All I can hope for, is that HRJ still operates with such passion to help women that have lost dignity to say the least. THANK YOU STILL HRJ in Lima! From the bottom of my heart. Kim S.
