Seriously-spectrum may be a bit more expensive, but for the love of god, switch to spectrum. 10x the internet speed for a bit more. Totally worth it. Century link is being served a class action lawsuit for how awful they are plus they lie to you about your internet speeds. I think that the lawsuit is more about the second part but you get the idea.

What kind of self-absorbed, pompous, arrogant company does NOT have 24/7 online or customer support for INTERNET SERVICES. As an ISP there are expectations to service your customers OUTSIDE of normal working hours when the internet is prone to either go down, or act less than what is paid for. The fact that you are not open on weekends when most of your customers work 9-5 on the weekdays and therefore can NEVER reach your support team is deplorable. It's ridiculous that you only work during regular business hours and provide no support of any kind outside of those hours. Even the AI, which isn't a live person, CANNOT help you outside of normal business hours. If a negative rating were possible you'd get the max score!

I have been without internet for 2 weeks now I've called several times to complain and nothing done. Now I have to wait another week for a person to come to my house to see what's going on straight ridiculous.

I called to inquire about a new service for a very large business. The customer service person, Jessica, was not helpful, rude, and treated me like I was bothering her. I asked to speak with someone else but was told she couldn't transfer me. Customer Service is AWFUL!!!!

Unreliability is the only thing this place is great about having! We live out not far from two towns/cities and can't get big name providers to get our internet. We have had nothing but problems from day one and have had them since 2015. From bad modems, bad cable lines down the road. Also you may have no cap but that's a lie! We get throttled for using TOO MUCH when we can't even load 2 cell phones and sling on our tv at the same time because nothing loads so we have to turn off our phones wifi to just load sling but yet we use too much when that has been our typical usage for years...but yet they refuse to fix their known problems and just blames the users for using their internet when it actually works. Beware of this trashy internet company!

I canceled my service with this horrible company because my internet cut out at least 3 times a day. They said they would send me labels so I could return the equipment within 30 days or I would get charged $90. I received the labels after 4 weeks and they took $57 out of my account after I shut down auto pay. These people are thieves. Spend a little extra and get internet through local cable company.

I paid my bill in advance and told them I no longer need their service and they charged me an addition $256. I'm a single father and veteran. I can't believe they do people like this

If you are considering going to the "Fiber Optic" option that Century Link is pushing for faster and better internet DON'T!! It has been a nightmare. They outsource it to a company called LUMEN. The process takes months. It doesn't improve your service. You will have constant outages and won't be able to reach anyone when they occur. They communicate through a "ticketing" e-mail process that is worthless.

Wrote such a horrible (but honest) review months ago, they have deleted it off this page. What a sham of a company, they cant even take the heat from their own customers

11/2019. Updating from previous 1 star. Had a problem and it was fixed fast. Communication was good. It was as good this time as it was bad last time. Would be 5 star if they'd update to fiber and offer faster plans. From 2017.Dont know where to even start. Unbelievable. Absolutely the worst customer service that I've ever encountered with any company. Totally dysfunctional and they don't even seem to care.Paying for 10 mbps and consistently get less than 0.2. Missed service window 3 times and counting. Now it's down with an estimated time of repair of 24 hours acording to a recording on their worthless customer help line.

0 stars is even to much for them. Very rude and unprofessional. Wanting to blame everyone for their mistake and treating you like a piece of garbage. You guys should be ashamed and really get some better people working for you

I would give 0 stars if I were able to. Buy CenturyLink if you want to pay full price and only get working internet one day a week.

I am originally from Miami, Florida, and I moved to Van Wert, OH back in January due to getting a new job. I was completely unfamiliar with the area and I was very surprised to find out my cable company/internet service provider Comcast/Xfinity did not service the area. I have had many problems over the years with Comcast, including one on my way out of Miami which I will detail in a later review, but I did like the product they provided. I did not know what companies serviced the area so I called AT&T and found out that although they did not have their service their either, Directv, one of their subsidiaries did. I wasn't thrilled about going to satellite but I said well when in Rome, do as the Romans do. I signed up with a package with them. I also wanted internet, phone and security and they said I needed to work with a different company they are affiliated with in the area: Centurylink. I got a package and I was told they would be at my home on a certain day after my move. Thus began a comedy of errors that made me terminate my contract with both companies. During this time both: 1) put down the wrong dates to start service. 2) create a work order to repair my existing service, when it wasn't even installed in the first place. I was actually told by the repairman who was mistakenly sent to my house that he doesn't know how this could have been screwed up this bad! 3) getting my order wrong I had to make so many phone calls, including in the middle of a work conference I was attending! Every time my mother called me to say hey we have another problem with the cable/internet companies I wanted to jot my head against the wall in frustration. I was losing my patience and then one call again during the conference, my mother said that the installer for the internet service said that we would have ridiculously slow speed because they relied on DSL for service in my area and we were really far away from the downtown area where if we watched YouTube on one computer no other computer could use the internet! Wait!? What!? I was already unhappy with switching to satellite for tv but DSL? What am I back in the 90s? I can't use this, I work from home occasionally and so does my brother... this can't work! I wasn't told anything about this. I stopped the installation and canceled. Thankfully since service wasn't set up I didn't break the contract, it just never happened. Yeah no thanks!
