I had a really great experience! This was my first time at Aspen Dental. The staff was wonderful, everyone from the front desk staff before my appointment to the doctor, to the hygienist and the front desk staff taking care of me afterwards were very attentive. I especially want to thank the hygienist as she was incredibly friendly, very knowledgeable and told me directly what was going on, while still being caring but not sugar coating it which I very much appreciate. There was a bit of a wait, but considering how busy they were, I was impressed with the level of attention and care I received. I would just recommend booking an appointment and giving yourself plenty of time, much like going to any other doctor.

Be careful going to this facility. They will lie to you. I scheduled for a cleaning, showed up to my appointment and never even received a cleaning. Instead, I was there for almost 2 hours and only received x-rays, and an “exam”. I was told I needed a $1500 dollar cleaning that would not be covered by insurance. When I left, I was told that everything would be ran through insurance that was done that day and if it wasn’t covered, it would be free because it was the first visit. 6 months later I received my first bill from them saying I had a past due balance for over $200. When I called to ask about the bill, I had to leave messages asking for a call back, which I never received. I finally called enough times that I finally received someone, and I was told “I don’t know why you didn’t receive a bill until it was past due but you do owe, it is past due and there is nothing we can do about that. We will have a talk to the front desk about the false information you were given”!I will NEVER go to another Aspen facility again.

I went in for a tooth that I wasn't sure if it had chipped or the filling was coming out. Talked to the Dr. and he told me what he could do. Then a hygentist came in, checked me and told me I had peridontal disease and would take several months to get it cleared up. Next I saw the office manager and she gave me a price of $2600.00. I said all I wanted was the tooth repaired for now. She told me they could not fix the tooth until the peridontal disease was taken care of. I left. This morning I went to another dentist and was told I could get the filling done for $274.00 and I DO NOT HAVE PERIDONTAL DISEASE. NEVER GOING BACK TO ASPEN DENTAL.

As a reasonable person and a new patient, I would not expect a dental office to push upon me extra and costly dental services. Myself and many have gone into Aspen Dental of Lima and came out being told they have hundreds of dollars worth of work that needs done, not just the problem they originally came in for. This is termed CONVERSION and is against the law. It is also consumer fraud to use high pressure sales tactics to coerce patients into accepting more costly and extensive dental work. It is also termed DENTAL MALPRACTICE when you have been physically injured.I have seen the turn around of the physicians and staff. There are staff members who are unprofessional and talk about patients up front where you can hear them in the waiting area. I am a registered nurse and this is a HIPPA violation and unethical.My crown was ordered on 12/16/21, paid for and never received or placed for one tooth. I ended up losing another tooth the doctor "fixed" after I put money into a root canal and did have a crown placed. The doctor stated prior to placing it, "I don't think this is gonna work but lets give it a try". It didn't work. Now, to get my money back. TWO managers, 100+ phone calls over several years, going into the office and lie after lie! They claim to have credited money back to my card. The card they "credited" my refund to is not an active card. The office girl says, "We will file a ticket and get your $1,427.00 back". Again, no ticket. No refund. Only chasing after what they will not do and that is refund my money. The financial side of Aspen Dental ranks with the daily scammers who are calling and only trying to scam you of your money.A doctor broke a file in my daughters jaw while doing her root canal. Aspen knows this. Aspen turned her account into collection and will not see her until she pays her bill, for their mistake, first. Aspen also charged my friend for electric toothbrushes but never gave them to him and his wife. If it were possible to give less than 1 star, I would.For myself and all the others that have been scammed, Aspen Dental of Lima, you need to step up and be accountable, professional and run your business accordingly. I would appreciate you taking the matter serious. As you would expect to be treated fairly and have one pay their bill, I would also expect the same in return. I have overpaid on my account for services NOT rendered and again, am requesting my money back.

The place is amazing made you feel comfortable when you cant stand drills. Or having teeth worked on i would recommend
