Horrible service call 4x to pick up tank! I'm gonna to be charging Amerigas a storage fee for keeping thier tank on my property. $100 a day!!! My lawyer will be sending them a bill.

Amerigas has switched its communications to overseas operators; this makes communication about deliveries very difficult. We found that Cherry's Propane (Ottawa, Ohio) was over $1 less expensive/per gallon. We are switching companies for both of the reasons listed above. If you plan to switch away from Amerigas, be prepared for hassles getting your money back or getting propane delivered to finish off the money in your account. We had been pleased with service up until the recent changes. Sorry to write the negative review because we always appreciated the drivers and their courteous service.

The delivery arrived 5 min before my son went to walk out door to go to school 7am. Blocking the driveway. He didn't leave a delivery slip, and after 22 yrs of paying the bill the person on the phone wouldn't speak to me because the bill is in my husband's name.

I am an auto fill customer. Dec. 7,2022 my payment posted to my bank account but Amerigas is still sending me past due statements and have sent me to collections. I have contacted them at least 4 times regarding this issue. They have waived the late fees and have admitted that there is a payment but it has not yet been applied. Woke up this morning and furnace is not working because I am out of propane!

Watch out for the delivery drivers on the interstate and anywhere else you may encounter them. I'm trucking along in the passing lane doing the speed limit and passing a couple of vehicles, when all off a sudden, just as I am about to pass one of their trucks, he whips out in front of me doing 58 to 60mph. Thank God I have a jake brake on my semi, which almost wasn't enough even with my light brake application so I didn't slide into him or off of the road. Whoever cleared this man to drive and the safety manager at this location needs to reevaluate their entire driving staff or maybe needs to be replaced. He may have been the guy riding shotgun when I passed by. I called the location and told them exactly what I am leaving here on the comments. Hopefully they see this permanent reminder that they are carrying FLAMMABLE AND EXPLOSIVE MATERIALS and need to exercise greater caution ⚠️ when driving that stuff around. END RANT! SAFTEY FIRST LADIES AND GENTLEMEN! SAFETY FIRST!!

Worst people I have ever talked to. I do NOT have a tank at my residence but keep getting bills in my name some how. I have talked to so called customer service with no answers. I am now dealing with a collection agent. This company is so incompetent they do not know where they fill up tanks at. If I ever move I would not use there service and will tell anyone not to either. God forbid there would be an actual office or person to talk to.

So far very dissatisfied. We had the tank set last week. I was informed that it should be filled some time the following week. The tank is now empty and I called to find out when I should expect them. I'm completely out of fuel in the tank and they had not set a fill appointment. Now they tell me I will have to wait 5 business days before refill. They will be taking this tank back come spring. I will never do business with them again. This is ridiculous. Their customer service does not provide any helpful information, nor do they actually set up appointments when they are called in. Please find an alternative gas supplier if you are in the market.

Great customer service. The delivery guy called prior to arriving. He was prompt to arrive when he said he would. He was very polite and asked me what was best for me with placing the tank. The tank was also filled on the day theysaid it would be. This company was the only one who would work with my budget and the price was better than the other competitors. So far I would recommend Amerigas.

In December 2020 we notified them that we no longer needed their services and their tank which we leased was ready for pick up. Since then we have called multiple times about getting their tank removed and it is still on my property. In July alone we have called 4 times and still has not been removed. This morning 8/3/2021 their customer service rep hung up on us! We switched to Cherry’s propane because Ameri-gas was more than double what Cherry’s was plus they are very easy to work with unlike Ameri-gas.

Everytime they have filled up my tank and I call in I get nothing but bad customer service. Tried to get my last bill figured out and the lady at the office hung up on me! Will never use them again, and don't recommend anyone else use them either!!

I was out on autofill, also updated the status of my tank, and called to have my tank filled weeks prior to it running out. They still let me run out of propane. I called and was out on hold for over 45 min each time. Then they told me that they where gonna lock my tank out until there was a better time for them to come by because I couldn’t get off of work on there schedule. Absolutely horrible management. Driver is awesome and very knowledgeable.

Employees are very friendly and knowledgeable. Their price may be a bit more than some other places; however, it is worth it in my books to have someone that knows the business checking and filling my equipment. If there’s a challenge they can spot it, let us know and repair it. Peace of mind is important with things that heat my home or that can go boom. Thanks for a great experience.

I went with business because they had a good deal at the time. I also told them that I also have a second source of heat too. They never said anything about a tank rental fee if we didn't buy a certain about of propane. I call them last year for the cost of propane and they were charging $1.00 more a gallon than anyone around or area. So I said to come get their tank. I got a $100+ bill from them then. After 4 months they still have not gotten their tank. But I am still getting charged for it.
