Their customer service is top-tier. We decided to upgrade our furnace and AC this spring. Unfortunately, the same week we were scheduled for installation we found out our foundation needed major repairs. American Heating was so kind and understanding when we called to explain that we would need to reschedule with no timeline. When we were ready, they were able to squeeze us in only a couple weeks later. They had no problem working with/around the foundation construction company. They did not try to sell us anything, honest with a fair price, quick and clean installation. I love our new units and have peace of mind knowing if there is an issue we can reach out to their amazing customer service team anytime.

Scheduled a PM on the business ac and the young lady did an outstanding job. We had masking tape over some ductwork and I didn't even realize until after she left that she had replaced our masking tape with the appropriate hvac tape. I didn't consider that part of the PM and i'm sure she didn't either, but that little extra she did showed that she had great work ethic and outstanding customer service. I've found my new HVAC company. Others not satisfied with their HVAC company should give this one a shot, i'm pretty confident you'll be happy you did.

Fixed furnace. Showed up at least. But took my control board that wasn’t broke. I’d have liked to keep that. They offered to give it back but who knows what “stress” it’s been in in their work van. Couldn’t re sell it now if I wanted to. And who knows if it would work if I needed it in a pinch because who knows what’s happened to it from the time it left my house. Other than that I’m grateful to have heat. Technician should learn some empathy and not be so demanding especially on the coldest day of the year. At the end of the day, we’re all humans and I forgive them, but just wish my circuit board wouldn’t have walked out. I’d be happy with half of the cost of the new one reimbursed for potentially ruining my circuit board. Hopefully they’ll do the right thing. But I at least wanted to do the right thing by changing my review. I was upset and I don’t think they deserved a 1 star. I’ll give a 3 could have been better could have been worse. Thanks -adam edit: they did the right thing. I don’t know if they just accidentally took it with them but they reimbursed us for the circuit board.

Jason and his crew are unbelievable. They come out 2x a year to service furnace and a/c. They noticed an issue with water heater. Within a few days the new one was installed. Matt and Josh were tremendous and also Katie the service tech. Highly recommend!!

Moved into a 42 year old house 1 year ago, with a gravel crawl space. The house still had the original furnace. After 6 months the furnace stopped working. I was thankful that household insurance came with the sale of the house. My major concern was having the insurance company send over a Company that would just do basic work. What a pleasant surprise I received. Greg Music was very professional and pleasant. After talking with him we choose to upgrade from the 80% efficient furnace (the one ins. would pay for) to a 96%. Their was no sales pressure. Before beginning work they went into crawl space to check out duck work. Which was partially metal and partially flex. The old furnace was removed and the new one installed. New duck work put in. Mr. Music called the homeowners insurance company for me and they even covered the cost of the duck work. Open pipe in attic covered (have no clue why this was up there. I had placed a screen over it when I first moved in). My son had discovered this and figured it was some type of air return but we found out it wasn't. The workers cleaned everything up as they worked and were very professional, pleasant, and took time to answer questions. I went into the crawl space after they left and they did a great job of cleaning. Taking all the flex duck and insulation that was laying around. When I found out they had a preventive maintenance care program I signed up for it. Figured by the time I bought furnace filters it was worth having them put in the correct ones and take care of furnace and air conditioner.UPDATE. American heating was bought out. Still great service. Everyone I’ve talked to and met are pleasant, knowledgeable and very friendly. I’ve continue my yearly maintenance contact (even though I may be moving) so the next owners will know a friendly and great company to call if they have a need.

Our furnace had quit and needed a new part, they were very quick to get out here and fix it temporarily while we waited for the new part and then came right out and put the new part in.Services: Heating equipment repair & installation

Had this company come out 2 check AC. Blowing out warm air and fan not working. Turned out capacitor had 2 be replaced. Checked Freon 2 make sure that wasn't the problem. Said fan was noisey after it began working. Something we had 2 keep an eye on.

Was told by another heating an ac company furnace was shot! Had an American tech come out after for a second opinion an found moisture in the lines after just ten minutes! Other tech from quality was there for two hours an all he did was lie an try to sell me a new furnace! Thank you American for being honest an trustworthy with your diagnosis. Called Dominion an y'all were right moisture in the line awesome thanks again!

This company is awesome.After waiting almost two weeks for my other guy to figure things out, I called American Heating and Air Conditioning.Zach was out lightening fast, diagnosed my system, and actually noticed a major issue that the other guy didn't, which likely could have seriously injured my family (carbon monoxide poisoning or a fire).They communicate, they do great work, and they are prompt. Nothing like waking up and having no AC on a Friday! So thankful that American Heating & Air conditioning was able to come the same day! Rex was awesome and got it all fixed for us!!
