Well i want to bring this to your notice i came to lakota Ymca on 9th January 2024 & the people at front desk were very nice & understood the matter i had with another ymca (conutryside)which they are not associated attall with but however the supervisor at this facility(lakota) felt i was so rude with him i was just explaining him what happened with us at different y & i was about to sign up in lakota facility but the attitude of the supervisor was so negative he took the conversation on him & felt sad i explained him & also apologized to him for no reason & i told him look i was telling you the concern & inshort lakota falicity is better in term of customer service but meeting this supervisor i want to say plz hire people who have listening ears as it is 100 percent guest centric related job not taking it as personal attack well you guys just lost a guest who can bring more referrals to the facility but really change the staff ot train them to understand the person .i was literally laughing when i stepped out the facility.

Convenient. Very dated & dark. BB court looked like it needed a new floor & BB were flat. Limited free weight selection & machines were very close to each other. No TVs to watch while on elliptical machines. Workers were informative.

Everyone was welcoming. I didn't feel awkward or stared at while exercising. I struggled to figure out a machine then I realized they all have instructions on them. I am excited to try a class.

The best gym in all respects.State of the art machines, cool and clean atmosphere, experienced personal trainers and we'll behaving and most Co operative staff makes this gym easily the BEST " IN CLASS.I GIVE OUTSTANDING CATAGOY TO THIS GYM.

In regards to the YMCA on Yankee Road…Writing this review as myself and 20+ other gentlemen have played basketball here twice a week for the last 15+ years, and over the past year we all have consistently complained about the upkeep of the facility in general, only for nothing to be done. That’s $10K+ a year in memberships, to which most of us only come here for the basketball. Playing with consistent rain drops coming from the ceiling above the court is just asking for an injury to happen.If I could convince the whole group to get a membership and play elsewhere I would cancel today… although that idea is definitely growing some traction amongst the others... Here’s to hoping something will be done after a year+ of complaining to the personnel/leaders.

Great facility, not enough attention paid to the basketball gym. The basketball court has serious safety concerns.The ceiling drips water directly onto the floor in numerous areas causing guys to slip, fall, and on occasion injure themselves. I've been playing basketball at this gym twice a week for the past 7 years and during that time have experienced the same issue. Something needs to change immediately. I hope leadership does something to improve these conditions, sooner than later.

I have been using the Lakota/Yankee Rd facility exclusively for men's basketball over the last 4 years and there have been too many times where water is dripping from the ceiling onto the courts. This creates an inconvenience and more importantly an injury risk to all playing. Hopefully this issue is addressed sooner rather than later. Thank you

Both the indoor and outdoor pools are clean with plenty of lanes and space to swim. There are adequate guards. It's good to have the Bubble for swimming outside during winter months.
