My wife and I went to the Lewis Center location on 12/31/23. We used the range for an hour. Prior to leaving I spoke with sales associate John. He showed me Sig GSR they just got in. Jonh was very helpful and we decided to purchase the gun. Starting the paperwork it was discovered the gun was not in the system yet and the gentleman who enters this had gone home sick. We were told come back tomorrow and they could complete the sale. We returned next evening . The people we dealt with weren't there. I was greeted by Carl. Told him the situation. He said we would have to deal with the on duty manager as he was working the range desk and could not leave that area. After several minutes we were approached by Brody S. Right away he seemed put off by having to help us. Said he would check but if it still wasn't in the system there was nothing he could do . My wife went to use the restroom as he looked. It was and he could complete the sale. Told him she was purchasing it and would be right back. This seemed to annoy him even more. The store was not busy at all and no other customers were waiting. We started talking discussing laws and gun ownership. Told him I had sold nearly 300 guns in the past year and a half from my late father's estate and I didn't want this one in my name as I had been contacted by the ATF asking if I was a dealer. He said oh that doesn't matter they can't do anything. In Ohio you can buy and sell as many guns as you want. Told him you're being naive if you think ATF doesn't put people on a watch list. His whole demeanor changed at this point. My wife returned and he told us he would not be selling us the gun because of my attitude and threatened to throw us out of the store. My wife said she just walked up and she had said nothing and she was the one buying it. With that he said he could refuse a gun sale to anyone at his discretion. I told him we had driven 45 minutes to return and purchase the gun and I was sure his corporate office would not look kindly on refusing a sale for no apparent reason other than calling him naive. He said go ahead he didn't care. Long story short he decided to complete the sale. I was in law enforcement for 26 years and know how the ATF functions. Obviously Brody has no clue and his ego bristled being told that. This young gentleman has no business being in management. I have made purchases there before and never encountered such treatment. Maybe he was having a bad day or upset about working on New years day. I truly don't know. We love our new Sig and will return to the store but if Brody is working I will not spend a dime on that visit. Respectfully Mark Young01/12/24. Update. Submitted ticket as instructed. To date no contact. Speaks volumes.

Horrible customer service. Absolutely rude and dismissive attitude. Was accused of trying to make a straw purchase because my partners ID doesn't have our current address, but the manager clearly doesn't understand how that law works. He never asked for an alternative ID or offer any useful solution. Told me I could come back another day to make the purchase. Make that make aense. This is a reply to my original review.A straw purchase by definition is purchasing a firearm for someone who isn't legally allowed to own one. That wasn't the case in this scenario. As for the ID issue, the manager could have requested another form to prove our address, such as a car registration. Or any other government form showing the address. Instead he was unpleasant.

Range membership is well worth the investment, especially if you go 2 or more times per month and like to bring a friend

A great evening. Very clean. Ranges are well ventilated. Very well supervised too. Visit 2x a month and membership is well worth it.

NEVER BUY A GUN AT RANGE USA. I purchased a 12-gauge online, but then needed to cancel the order two weeks later -- never even picked it up. RANGE USA is deducting 25% for doing nothing. Sad part is that they have a nice staff at my local Lewis Center store. Some so-called exec implemented this horrible policy -- they just lost my business fovever.

We went here as a family with very little to no experience with guns as we live in Europe. The crew was very helpful to explain how to properly and safely use the weapons, especially also in the bunker. This made all the difference because the noise can be really intimidating. The staff contributed to a great experience we will not easily forget!

I spoke to Lisa from the support team who was very patient and very supportive¡I had a small issue with my membership which turned into an annoying back and forth issue. On a certain day I came in with a group of 10ppl and I specifically asked the front desk rep not to sign anyone up for a membership. Unfortunately I still got a membership charge on my second card (I don’t blame the rep for the charge because later on I found out who’s name was under the membership and it was one of my God sisters who doesn’t know any better and decided to go for the membership without consulting me haha no biggy). This is the tricky part.. I already have a membership with one of my cards but the second membership was charge to my other card. I thought I could just go in and let them know that there was a mistake and I was charged on my second credit card but they couldn’t locate the account associated with the second membership because we didn’t know the name that was associated with it. meaning they can’t pull up the account to cancel the membership without the name of the person associated with the purchase. It’s confusing I know.. So I had to get a number and call the support line. I ended up calling the support line and I spoke to a representative. Quickly I was told to fill out a ticket online. So I did. When I called back another member just hung up on me before I could even say a word. So I called again and that’s when I came across Lisa. Lisa took her time to understand my small but complicated situation. Once the situation made sense to Lisa she was able to solve the problem swiftly. She stayed on the line for a while just to support me. For that I am highly thankful. If you guys have a special award or gift for team members that go above and beyond, Lisa definitely deserves it.God bless you all.

They just lost my business fovever and the worse part is that the team at the Lewis Center location are really great and nice people. Some money-hungry so-called executives came up with this horrible idea of charging for returns. So they replies to my reivew by posting the exact policy which l mentioned is terrible. Go figure!

Had difficulty checking in. Filled out the waiver for myself and the family. Got to the register and they couldn't find it.....had to go back and do it again. The range officer was very nice and didn't bother us at all. Range was clean and the atmosphere was welcoming. They have alot of items for sale to select from and next time I'll look around. This was our first time and we will be back. The value for shooting was great.

Nice range. Prices are a little high. I've been buying range pass packets for years, but they expire after 90 days. Has never been an issue to last time I went in and was informed that my passes were expired and they would take one. I had to call the corporate office to get this fixed and they apologized and made it right. Otherwise I would not have come back.
