The WORST hotel experience I’ve ever had. They have strict quiet hours from 10pm-6am, all night there was people in the hall chanting, yelling, and arguing. Above us there were people having extremely loud sex, this all went on until 3am. We didn’t sleep at all, the desk worker did not seem to care we had a bad stay and didn’t try to make it right for us. Would not stay here again.

We used Nationwide Hotel as lodging for our wedding and overall are very happy with our choice. The grounds and rooms are stunning and the amenities on site are top notch. Our guests commented that the breakfast in the Ohio dining room was the best hotel breakfast they have had. Our only pain point was that communication with the admin staff was often confusing and issues arose out of misunderstandings. But when the issue was brought to their attention they were quick to correct it.

We celebrated our wedding in the Edgewater space on 10/14/23. We could not recommend this venue enough. The space is absolutely beautiful with floor-to-ceiling windows, a big fireplace, and wood beams. It's intimate and cozy while still being able to accommodate a large wedding. With the venue, hotel, and pub on site (perfect for an after-party or welcome party), plenty of free parking, and a short ride to the Columbus airport, we literally couldn't ask for anything better. Their wedding packages include almost everything you need (catering, bar, tables, chairs, linens, silverware, etc.), which makes the process so easy and eliminates the stress of searching for separate vendors. Packages seem fairly priced for the Columbus market, the bar list is comprehensive, and the food is amazing. It was even better at our wedding than at the tasting. Everything was cooked perfectly, hot, and delicious. Our guests commented on how good the food was! The only thing I wish this venue had was a separate indoor space for cocktail hour. They have a beautiful patio that we were suppose to utilize but due to the rain, we got moved inside the ceremony & dinner rooms which made taking family photos a bit chaotic. Tiffany and Desi were a delight to work with, both very responsive and helpful. Desi was very helpful throughout the planning process, offered advice when asked, and knew all the questions to ask to make sure we had all the bases covered (plus has a great eye for setting up decor and details) and made sure our day ran smoothly. The decor storage before and after the wedding was super helpful as well so we didn't have to worry about it the day of. The hotel was clean and had plenty of space for all our guests and the getting-ready suites were very nice and spacious with a mix of soft seating, barstools, and tables, a half bath, a closet, and a kitchenette area. The staff boxed up a few dinners and desserts along with champagne and chocolate-covered strawberries and left them in our suite on the wedding night which was much appreciated and such a cute thought! We could not recommend this venue or Desi enough!

The building is visibly old with some wear and tear, from the hotel to the conference center. But overall is well kept. The rooms could use a nice scrub. Conference center has some nice modern upgrades and the service is always great. Breakfast at the hotel is delicious which is a huge plus. Lots of weddings hosted here, which can result in some noisy guests in the halls in the middle of the night.

My mother in law and I came up for a conference but didn't stay in the hotel overnight. The conference center facilities were very nice and the staff was as well. The food they set out for breakfast was delicious as were the snacks they had set out all day for us. The lunch in the Ohio room was great as well. The creamy potato soup was excellent. Even though the outdoor pool was closed up it still had water in it and looked very nice and clean. The pictures are of the breakfast and snack area at breakfast time.Walkability: My mother in law has mobility issues but surprisingly insisted that we walk to the Ohio room for lunch which was about a 3 to 5 minutes walk from the conference center and she had no issues getting there and back.

Been here for a conference and for vacation. Our room was spacious, but needed a deep clean. Carpet felt sticky in places, and it hasn't been vacuumed in who knows how long. The pools were nice but could have also used a deep clean. Staff were somewhat accommodating, however, when we checked in the gentleman said it had "been slow" and couldn't wait to "be somewhere else". Morning breakfast was mediocre, cold hot bar foods. Staff attentive, but not the friendliest. We enjoyed our stay, but wished the room was cleaner. Very pleased with the location and how close it was to attractions and restaurants we were interested in.Rooms: Nice room. We stayed in a parlor room. It was not very clean.Food & drinks: Food was mediocre at best. Foods meant to be hot were cold.

I booked a 2 queen bed room with separate sitting room for my adult daughter and I through Trip.com. The 3 night booking was nonrefundable because I booked the day before arrival and cancellations aren’t allowed within 24 hours of arrival. My daughter only stayed one night because the noise from people walking around in the room above us made sleeping impossible. I ended up staying 2 nights and completely regretted that decision after being awakened at 11:30 pm. 3:30 am and 5:45 am. I actually walked to the lobby desk at 6 am in my pajamas to tell the clerk I couldn’t stand the noise and would have to check out early. The clerk apologized profusely, canceled the reservation for the final night and told me my key would work for 2 hours giving me time to pack our belongings.
Two weeks passed and I didn’t see a refund posted to my credit card for the unused night, so I contacted Trip.com. The customer service agent also apologized and said she would contact the hotel about a refund. Later in the day, I received a response from the Trip.com agent saying that the hotel had no record of my noise complaint and, therefore, they would not issue a refund.
I am FURIOUS that the hotel refused to address the noise issue when (1) my daughter complained about the noise at 9 pm on our first night and (2) I complained to the front desk at 6 am after a sleepless second night.
Please see the detailed review in the attached photo which I posted to Trip.com.
Do NOT stay here unless you stay in a 4th floor room or are deaf.

5 miles away from the zoo. Great room. Nice, small pool. Room that we had was a double room: living room on one side and beds in the other. Perfect for families.Nearby activities: Columbus Zoo

I've never stayed at a hotel with so little soundproofing. I could fully understand conversations in the room next door and the people upstairs were stomping around for hours at a time, which hotel staff would do nothing about. I also concur with another reviewer about the bedding. The blankets were not enough and there wasn't an extra in the room.Nearby activities: There is a lovely nature park across the street, but this is not at all a walkable area. There are no sidewalks to get there or anywhere else off of the property.

I had high expectations for this property based on reviews. There are several pluses. It is close to a large mall with multiple restaurant options and near Columbus zoo as well. The lobby and public areas are clean and well maintained. The outdoor pool area is very nice though indoor pool is small and forgettable. The staff were pleasant and the free breakfast is fine though nothing stellar. The rooms are clean but I found the mattress uncomfortable. We could hear noise from room above so would request a top floor. The air conditioning unit was extremely loud and would kick on intermittently with a sudden freezing blast. Based on description I had expected a park like campus however there are no trails or even much in the way of sidewalks( lots of parking lot space). Also beware the king parlor suite has a sleeper sofa but we were surprised to discover the queen parlor suite sofa is NOT a sleeper sofa( resulting in our kids unexpectedly having to share a bed). For the price this is a nice property but given issues outlined here I would likely opt for one of the national chains in this price range in the future

Taking time out just to recover ? and rest was the purpose for my stay at this hotel. The rooms are beautiful, Spacious...up to date. The showers are walk in only, but clean. My fridge played a trick on me, but it was replaced in no time with the best. If there was a complaint...I don't remember ??? the stay was VERY pleasant ♥️. Good shopping and restaurants. Down the street from one of Columbus larger (upscale) malls. Just a pleasant place to visit.P.S. If your in need a a large conference room...this is also the place. ?

Didn’t know what to expect since this was our first time staying at Nationwide Hotel and Conference Center. We were pleasantly surprised and would definitely stay here again.
We loved the outdoor areas(Pool, seating overlooking the fountain). Breakfast was top notch. We didn’t get to check out the Pub but on our next visit we definitely will. Lots of entertainment ( restaurants, shopping, Columbus Zoo, and more)a short drive from the hotel.
We would recommend this hotel for any travelers coming to Columbus. Loved our time there!

We had the Chromosome 18 Camp / Conference at the hotel and had a great experience with the hotel. As an event organizer the on site team was easy to work with, rooms were clean and food was good. Would recommend and will be back.

We stayed for two nights as part of a mini staycation with the family. The location was really convenient to Zoombezi Bay and the Columbus Zoo with a number of dining options and Polaris nearby. Its in a quiet, secluded feeling location that seems very safe. The hotel was comfortable, we had a double queen room with a patio. The room seemed clean, though my daughter did find toys and clothes under Both beds. Both beds and the sofa were the comfortable. The TV was rather small considering the size of the room and to be honest, the lighting was pretty awful throughout. The bathroom was ok....small, but well done. The room had a fridge and microwave, though the fridge was pretty small and seemed insufficient to actually cool anything. The hotel has both an indoor and outdoor pool. Temperature wise, both were pretty cold, though both areas were well done and definitely comfortable to relax in. We didn't use the fitness center, but it did look nice. There's no daily cleaning service, the desk was helpful in providing supplies by request, trash removal would have been nice, but all in all, it was fine. Breakfast included with direct booking was better than most. Both days included an array of breads, pastries, fresh fruit, yogurt, parfait makings, cereals, coffee, juice and such. The first day included scrambled eggs, french toast, fried potatoes, and heat and serve sausage. The second day had vegetarian omelettes, home fries, bacon, sausage, gravy, and biscuits. All in all a nice bonus for a hotel stay. The grounds are well kept and very serene, all in all, while not perfect or luxurious, definitely a comfortable stay at a good value. If needed, we would likely stay again.
