Wonderful place to board. Amy is the best - honest, hardworking and a true horsewoman in an industry full of unethical characters. She is a trainer I trust implicitly with the care of my two horses. She always keeps the horses' best interest above all.

I purchased an OTTB from Win Row Farm and had a prepurchase exam done, except for x-rays, as I was assured by Amy that the horse was returned from the track (being told that this was one they had initially bred) only due to the fact that it was too slow and not interested in being a racehorse. The then-owner brought it back to Amy hoping it could have a second career as a hunter. The gelding passed the vet exam, bloodwork and flexion test, so I purchased him. I live out of state and had him shipped to me. The horse has had lameness issues shortly after purchasing. I've had him now for several years, had him on glucosamine/hoof care supplements for several years, glucosamine injections monthly now and now powdered bute. He's been x-rayed and found to have bone chips. I've tried to contact Amy by phone leaving a voice mail several times and texting her, and also emailing to see if there had been any previous x-rays performed being requested for review by my vet. NO RESPONSE!!! I then tried contacting her husband, Chris, by several methods. Again, NO RESPONSE!!!! This shows me they are not responsible horse sellers! I definitely do not recommend them.

Win Row has been the place my horses have called home for over a decade. Amy and Chris are kind, horse-driven people who are the biggest blessing I could have asked for with my riding. They are almost always available and are just as dedicated to my horse as I am. Amy helped take me from local shows to AA and gain confidence along the way. I am forever grateful to have happened upon their barn in 2008.

We moved to WinRow Farm two years ago and couldn't be happier! First, education: Amy Rosell takes the time to teach about horse maintenance, barn maintenance, and OHJA processes. She also has a network of some of the areas best equine experts from Farriers to surgeons. Second: no drama. Kids are there to learn, perform, and be part of something bigger than a lesson. Third: patience. Amy goes above and beyond trying to understand the strengths and weaknesses of each rider and gets them to understand how to get better. Fourth: participation in top shows, from Lexington KY, WEC, Traverse City, and local shows, there's a show for all levels. Fifth: lesson horses are amazing! And last: the barn is always immaculate and there is an abundance of pastures for turnout. We drive an hour one way (as do many of her students) for my daughters' lessons but know she's in good hands. The many foals delivered each year at the barns are a bonus for the kids and adults alike!
