They run a fabulous spay/neuter clinic here. We had just gotten a dog that wasn’t spayed and every other low cost clinic only did cats, or were booked out to the end of the year. They got me in within 3 weeks and the procedure was flawless. The staff was friendly and informative and answered all my questions. The incision is barely noticeable and they even send you home with pain meds at no additional cost! My pup was back to full shenanigans the next day. Highly recommend!

The people here share my love of animals. They are so knowledgeable about pets, that I learn something new all the time.

I did not have a good experience here. There was a dog I was interested in and filled out an application. I gave it a day and called back the second day and they said he was on hold whatever that means. Apparently he was adopted. But I was told the female that had come in with him had been returned and I said I was interested in her so two hours later I arrived and was told she had already been adopted. It seems they just tell you whatever they want and don’t check the status of the animals. I told one lady I drove 30 minutes there and was told within the last two hours that the dog was there and she really didn’t seem to care at all. All I got was “Oh sorry.” And honestly I thought I would get a call telling me that the dog I originally wanted had been adopted but I’m not even sure they considered my application. It seems like walk-ins get precedence. First come first serve. The best person in there to talk to and is the most knowledgeable about the dogs is a volunteer named Carol. She is the sweetest. The day I went to see the little female, Carol told me she came in that morning and she was gone. So at the time I called the dog was obviously already not there. I don’t think I will be adopting a dog from here. It’s really no way to run a business.

I have adopted a wonderful cat from here. It's a nice clean shelter compared to there nearby. My only issue is that they are closed Sundays when that's a day of the week that many people have available to look for new forever companions. Close another day but open the doors on Sundays!!

We adopted our last dog here in 2019, a four year old unspayed female surrendered along with puppies from her second litter and another female from her first. The staff was diligent and kind. They do everything possible to ensure the animal is going to a good home where they will be loved and cared for. The manager and volunteers top priority is the welfare of the animals.

I’ve visited quite a few shelters the past few weeks, looking for the perfect match. This was by far the cleanest one I went to. Even the kennels were spotless and you could smell how clean it was. The cats all looked healthy. The staff was very friendly and helpful and let me take my time to figure out who would be the best fit for our home. Very easy process and worth the $100 adoption fee!

I have always liked this shelter and their dedication to animals and their community. I am in the process of keeping my eyes open for a new addition. I decided to stop in here the other day to meet a dog I was interested in. I have two senior dogs that are both 15 years old. They are anxious and would not do well in the shelter environment for a meet and greet of potential new dog, plus it is very difficult.to get them in and out of the car to get them there. When i walked in I asked the lady at the desk if they ever offered any foster to adopt situations and explained my situation to her with my senior dogs. This lady was very short and pretty rude to me. She then said yes we do sometimes but not just for anyone. Then clearly was done talking to me. Im not sure what she ment by this but I have worked with dogs for over 15 years and work with many rescues I am a very dog savvy person.I then emailed the rescue to see if it qould be possible to talk to someone who was in charge of making decisions there maybe a manager or someone that might at least listen to me and help me underarand what this lady ment and wont be rude to me, short and cut me off but no one ever even responded.Really left a bad taste in my mouth for this organization and I probably will not adopt.from this shelter in the future.

Our new addition came to us a week ago. Our Boomer who's a senior dog came with a struggle at first because he felt "don't tell me what or not what to do". But we're all adjusting & so happy we gave him a home where he's loved on & of course more than spoiled.

We adopted our cat from this shelter. It was an easy process, and the staff were very kind. Our cat had not yet been fixed due to her age, but they allowed us to take her home and bring her back for surgery. We will definitely come here for our next pet.
