Full disclosure: no idea how they are as a vet clinic. Never got that far. Called them because we were shopping around for new vets and needed our puppy spayed. Called them and spoke to a nice woman who quoted me a reasonable rate for a spay and I was ready to make the switch. Told the lady all about my puppy and made an initial appt with the vet.
Took time off work and drove down to be seen. Then, I get told they won’t spay my puppy because she’s too big and (verbatim quote), “The doctor is getting old and just doesn’t want to deal with larger breeds”.
I get all that. I am not even mad that that’s the stance. A bit odd that that’s the reason, but hey - it’s their business. But say that on the phone and don’t waste a (potential) customer’s time.
I didn’t establish care there. If they can’t be upfront with a potential customer on the phone, I’m not willing to engage any further. If the vet doctor is “that old”, what is the future of that place anyway?

It feels like everyone here loves our pets as much as we do. Dr. Sheehan speaks softly and has a gentle touch to keep them calm. Prices are very fair.

Helps me with my cats, both inside and outside community cats I care for.I have another vet close to where I live as no vet can be all things to all people. The third vet I tried went corporate and judgemental of me, so I was fired as a client.Both my vets have caring staff and try to work you in if at all possible.After hours, I go to the emergency vets in Centerville.

These people are totally rude! I was referred to them from family to get flea treatment because this where my family has always gone with no problems. They wouldn’t sell me flea treatment because my animal is not a patient but neither was my families pets so make it make sense! Plus she was not polite about it either! My 10 yr old even said mommy she isn’t nice!

I just love Amanda “Mandy” Asher, she is extremely smart, has an enormous heart, she’s straight forward and runs a tight ship. There’s No slacker’s allowed on this chicks crew! All the trust worthy qualities needed to care for my fur baby! Mandy checks all the boxes for a great Veterinarian Assistant.
