Wonderful cabins to stay in....... Indoor hot tub is a must for cold seasons!!!!! And those cinnamon rolls.......... R to die for hands down best I've ever had!!!!!!

Ash Ridge Cabins are like walking into a handcrafted cabin. Fully assured the decor, views, and craftsmanship will give you the best cabin life feel. Everything is so clean, stocked, and did I mention the views?? Absolutely worth it all. It really does not matter which season you visit, the views are absolutely gorgeous. I highly recommend Ash Ridge cabins! Especially for a holiday gathering. No better gift to give your family than a relaxing, togetherness with those views!

Perhaps people have checked into clean cabins from this owner. But that was not the case with me. My wife and I checked into the sweetheart cabin. For the expensive weekend rate the owner charged us for two night costing over $600, I would expect a pristine and clean cabin. But I was given a filthy cabin up on my arrival that seemed like it hadn't been clean since the previous guest. As a matter of fact, I don't think it was cleaned at all except for the previous guest attempting to clean up after themselves.We found trash under the bed, a used lipstick container under the coffee table, food in the Jacuzzi, the microwave was filthy, the oven was not clean inside and mold growing out from the shower head as you can see in the photos. There was burnt food on the pots and pans that dried up and needed a good scrubbing. It's a good thing we brought our own blankets and sheets from experience because I could smell the musty odor from human bodies on the blankets, and towels. That musty stench as if the towels were left hanging there wet from previous use. Look at the photo taken under the bed where I put two red circles. One of those circles shows someone's black beanie left behind next to used toilet paper and the second circle is someone's used small pillow with hair on it that fell on the back corner of the bed.When I told the owner Theresa about it, she became very defensive after sending her photos via email. After talking with her on the phone she made it seem as if I was making a big deal out of.....and I quote .... "Just some dust under the bed". What a joke. So if your reading this review and thinking about going to these cabins, then you decide after looking at my photos......was I making a big deal?She sent these amateur housekeepers the next morning unannounced to the cabin to try and get inside to clean everything up. Yes she sent me an email the night before saying she would get back to me after showing the photos. But never did I receive a phone call ahead of time from someone saying "hey were on our way and will be there in about 30 minutes". They tried lying and said I have a dog because I didn't want to open the door all the way. My wife was inside not dressed and I wasn't about to let there strange people walk inside with our stuff all around. These are things they should have gotten done before any guest arrives. Lazy staff and lazy owners.Oh, and on a side note, Theresa after you read this review and depending on how you respond, I'll edit and respond back with a GoPro recording of your cabin with a YouTube link.

I had the most the most wonderful time at the Lodge! This is by far the cutest cabin I've ever stayed in! Everything was so cute, clean, and cozy!! Next time I stay in Hocking Hills it will be at Ash Ridge Cabins! The views were unbelievable!! We even got into bird watching since so many of them were in and out on the back porch! Who knew such a beautiful place could be rented out right here in Ohio??

We have been coming to Ashridge Cabins since 2005. Josh and Julie made you feel warm and welcome as were the cabins. After the changing of ownership it seems that the charm has all went away. Pictures around the cabins before were of the beautiful areas around Hocking Hills. Now every where you turn a picture of Jesus is staring at you. I have nothin against Jesus it is just something I am used to seeing everywhere I look in the cabin. Gone to was the country feel of the cabins and it was more hotel like feel. Also always keep your doors locked this past time we had another guest think that this was their cabin and they had made the mistake but were trying to make it our problem. We still love going to Hocking Hills but we will be finding another location to stay at next time.

AshRidge Cabins is Great, Lovely, Cozy, Quit, Amazing Stay, Nice View in the woods. I Stayed in the Lover's Loft Cabin. I had 2 BDRM'S, Game Room/Jacuzzi (HotTub), Beautiful View out the windows of the Game Room while Relaxing in Hottub with the Purple Lights on at Night. I had a nice firepit but it was to windy to have a fire at night. Also Absolutely Thumbs Up to the person who started the $$$DOLLAR BILL GAME. I ADDED SOME EXTRA $$ TO THE GAME AND EXTRA HINTS. I WILL BE BACK SOMETIME THIS SUMMER OR NO LATER THAN FALLTIME.THANKS FOR EVERYTHING YOU GUYS DO!

Our large family stayed in the lodge over Christmas. We had a wonderful time. Teresa had it beautifully decorated for Christmas making it very warm and homey. The adults spent hours playing games at the very large kitchen table while the kids enjoyed the lower level game room and hot tub. Having 5 separate bedrooms plus the 2 additional bunkbeds in the loft were a major plus with our large group. Ron and Teresa thought of everything and I would highly recommend them. I hope to visit again soon.
