I went in to get help in selecting a playset for my granddaughter. The online app was not very helpful. Kim, one of the managers tried to help us. She walked us through a selection process including determining how to have a contractor install it for us. She set up a time for a contractor to evaluate the site, make sure the unit fits the site and determine if any permits are needed. She suggested we do that before we actually purchase the unit. I highly appreciate and recommend Kim for any project with Lowes.

Fuck Kevin in Lumbar. Called ahead of time to make sure a discount for a bulk order of lumbar would work in lancaster as it showed for Athens. After a long hold time Kevin answered. After explaining that it was for a pro deal for bulk purchases and it would apply to lancaster as well, he stated he couldn't help us and that we should've listened to what he said in the first place when we went to check out. It's worth the extra hour to Athens if Kevin works here.

Sales associate lied to me twice. Tried resolving issue with store manager and he didn't offer an acceptable remedy. Called corporate and they apologized for such a bad customer service experience, but said they couldn't do anything about it other than provide feedback to the store to do better in the future. Disappointing. Never shopping at Lowes again.

I recently purchased a refrigerator from our local Lowes. The man at the store was very nice and helpful. He verified that the refrigerator was in stock and that we would be contacted soon regarding delivery. The next evening (Wednesday), I received an automated message saying that the refrigerator would be delivered Thursday evening between 4 and 8 pm. No one showed up, neither did I receive a call regarding the status of the delivery. The next morning, I called the store and they referred me to the 800 number for the delivery service as the store has nothing to do with deliveries. I called the number and spoke to a woman who said that the note in the delivery log said that the driver could not find my house. She offered to transfer me to the warehouse so that I could speak to someone about the issue. I was on hold for approximately 20 minutes before I gave up. A few minutes later, I called the 800 number again and the person on the line told me that they really couldn’t tell me anything because the warehouse handles all of the deliveries. She transferred me again to the warehouse and I was once again on hold for nearly 45 minutes with no answer. After phone calls to the store and more holding with the warehouse, we visited the store and the employee there sent an email on our behalf to the warehouse. (Somewhere in all of these calls, we were told that the driver did come to our house the night before but that it was too late-this was absolutely false.) Later that evening, I received a call saying that the delivery would arrive Sunday morning between 8 am and noon. We waited again and no one arrived. A little after noon, I called the 800 number and the lady on the line told me that the driver was at the stop prior to mine. The driver called me around 1 pm and told me that he was on his way, but that he did not have a delivery partner, so he was not going to bring the refrigerator into our house, he was just going to drop it off. Our refrigerator was lying down in the truck, which is not best practice for the mechanicals in the appliance. He put the refrigerator in our garage still in its packaging and then left. When we were able to get help from our son (who used to deliver appliances) and his friend to bring the refrigerator into the house, we finally unpackaged the refrigerator to find two dings on the front door which had been covered by the styrofoam packaging.
From the moment this transaction left the hands of the local store, it went downhill. We had two retailers to choose from when we were making this purchase and we went with Lowes because of its longevity and reputation. We will not make this mistake again.

After numerous horrific experiences with Best Buy I decided to give Lowe's a try ! Have been nothing but amazed at how seamless and helpful eveyone has been! Curt and the other female manager at the Lowe's of Lancaster are literally super humans in getting things done! Their delivery team is beyond amazing! Hard working , respectful. Like two big brothers coming to help u install a fridge! Will def be purchasing from them again!!

Stopped in late Saturday afternoon for some materials needed for my outdoor projects. The store was crowded, i marched forward and got most items that I needed; however, some items were simply out of stock. This was disappointing. I believe that this was a side effect of COVID as may items are in short supply. i was also disappointed in the level of service I received. I asked several people for help and they seemed annoyed that I had approached them. Overall, I will continue to shop here, but plan via online research prior as The Advice/help that I have been getting is subpar.

We ordered custom windows for a new house build. It took over two months, which was understandable. However, when Lowe's delivered our windows they shattered 5 out of 16. They are now going to have the shattered windows fixed by buckeye glass, who is also experience delays! They have set back our house at least two months or more now by shattering our windows. They have offered no solution , and now our house will not be sealed up for window. We absolutely do not recommend Lowe's.

I bought a dishwasher. They installed it incorrectly multiple times. Then they replaced it with a damaged dishwasher. Started the process March 16, finally had a correctly installed, undamaged dishwasher 8 weeks later. Still haven't had anyone call to refund me like they agreed too. Here's a collection of screen shots of their customer service (I've already filed complaints with the BBB, their corporate office, and the local store). It's astounding. In a horrible way.

The worst for customer service!. I'll shop Menards or drive to ace hardware in Baltimore before I ever set foot in this store again. Never again!

NEVER AGAIN! Worst experience ever with a complete new kitchen remodel. While the contractor was great, i would never never go through Lowe's ever again. Won't even go back in the store. So many things they forgot to order causing delays. Major appliances came damaged then the reordered items came damaged in the exact same way. Their computer system is so antiquated that it can't handle the simplest task of payment and tracking an order. Customer service was rude, in competent and in many cases completely ignorant of remodeling processes. WORSE EXPERIENCE EVER! Won't ever put foot back in the store after this experience. PLUS, they are extremely overpriced.

This store has the worst customer services of almost any store I have been to. I have been to this store my whole life and it just never gets better. We were shopping for a table saw today and had to ask multiple sales persons where a particular one was being kept since there weren't anymore at the display. They sent us all over the store to where they thought it might be without ever offering to help us look or offering to look themselves. After being sent to 2 wrong locations, we finally asked them if they would go find them. They did, but only because we pointedly asked. This is a typical experience at the Lancaster Lowe's. :(

Chain home store that carries just about anything you could think of for any home renovation. This store is well staffed with plenty of friendly faces that go way out of their way to help you find what you need. Never had a bad experience at this store.

If I could give it minus a star, I would. I came to this store in November to purchase a storm door for my sons house as an early Christmas gift. He still does not have this door installed. According to Lowes , it has been there, the installer is the issue. Wouldn't you get your crap together??? Why do I keep coming back to Lowes??? I must be stupid....after my nightmare kitchen experience you would think that I would run..... Lowes, get it together!!!!! You really leave a lot to be desired!!!! My son finally got the storm door almost 2 months after we ordered and paid for it!!!!!!

I would have given this store zero stars or even negative stars if that was possible. My review wouldn't post unless I put one star. My husband and I went to Lowe's to buy everything for a kitchen remodel - appliances, flooring, cabinets, countertops, etc. A builder we had gotten an estimate from recommended a person in the kitchen design area to help us with our choices. We had everything designed the way we wanted it, all the cabinets picked out, even faucets and handles. We asked the design person to give us a final price, and she asked us if our builder was purchasing everything, or if we were. We said we hadn't decided yet, that we were still getting estimates from other builders. She said she would send us a packet with all the prices. After over a week, no packet arrived. My husband went to Home Depot and The Andersons to price compare. We found that Home Depot beat Lowe's price for cabinets. We contacted the lady at Lowe's, told her that Home Depot was cheaper, but we would like to stay with Lowe's since it was so close to our home and we had already picked everything out there. We asked if they would match the price. The designer told us that this was not going to make our builder happy. We responded that it had nothing to do with our builder, we were buying cabinets from Lowe's, not our builder. We came to an agreement on the price. She said she had to run it by her manager and would call us later in the day. She did call later and said Lowe's would sell us the products for the agreed upon price, and could we come in in the morning to make the purchase. The next morning as we were walking out the door, an assistant manager from Lowe's called and said that the builder had called and was mad because they had undercut his bid. He said they would not sell us the cabinets now at the agreed upon price, that if we wanted to buy cabinets, we had to buy them from the builder. What?! That day we went to Home Depot and bought everything from them. We will never buy anything from Lowe's again.
